Why go to store when you can go to company direct.

My old charger (can't remember the make) died on me for the second time so I decided to replace it and I'm glad I did - the Vorsprung Dark Knight tethered charger is brilliant! Clear documentation with easy to follow instructions and my Electrician was able to remove the earth spike I had to have with the old unit - so the installation looks good too!

Im a researcher and it drives me mad! Eventually i decided on the tetherd Dark Knight and im glad i did, Sparky said easy to install and it looks great with its LCD Display giving you some interesting info, loved the fact they have a London based office so ringing Customer Service regading the App was a doddle and got me sorted within 10 mins, thanks Vorsprung i would highly recommend!

I ordered the type2 to 3pin uk charger. Very happy with purchase, especially being able to easily adjust the current on the display between 6A and 13A. This is especially useful at my office, which use 10A fuses on all sockets.

Came fast I installed it just as fast as, took a massive weight off having that charging point at the house …….. great product 🤝

I have been one of Vorsprung’s top customers for fitting Ev chargers. However, the latest model is cheaply made and caused a lot of headache for me and my customer. The customer service has gone appalling since Wass left and I will no longer be using this company going forward

It all started with me ordering charger with a gentleman called Angus who is very friendly I ordered the charger on Monday and it was here on Tuesday. I needed some technical information rang him he was brilliant thanks Angus your a gem to the company a great asset.

My Vorsprung Alpha untethered charger arrived very quickly from Amazon and was very easy to install replacing a defective charger from another maker. App setup is very easy and the Monta app functionality is way better than my old charger. The RFID keys to start an immediate charge without the app work really well. Very happy so far!!! Thanks Vorsprung!!

Great customer service through WhatsApp. Quick response and reasonable price!

It took longer not to be able to get the app to work (vorsprung, tuya, smart life - they appear to be all the same) than to physically install it. So tomorrow starts the process of getting help on the helpline. We'll see how that goes. Shame on them for not providing a manual override.

Dreadfully disappointed so far.

As my app developer friend once said 'any app that needs an instruction manual to work it, has already failed the test of simplicity ".

Customer service got in touch very quickly. Someone called Anders went through all same diagnosis that I'd already done. Unfortunately he could bring nothing new to the party so I called it a day and I've now requested a return.

Here are the problems with the Nano. It's a lovely slim unit for limited space. Physically to install it's quite easy despite having some tiny screws that are easily lost and no spares, but:

A 5m hook up is very mean. 7m is really a minimum.

The instructions are well printed but chronically short on detail especially on set up. For instance, there is no mention of the reset button or it's operation and it is critical for setting up the BT for your phone app.

The unit is completely useless without an app i.e. there are no physical buttons to operate it.

Finally they have made contact for a return. No prepaid service so postage came to £18+ fully insured. No offer of refund of postage yet and very strict return condition of 'in unused condition' which obviously I cant meet. So this will be interesting. I may yet have to revert to a paypal claim.

I used their WhatsApp support system on Sunday. Got a reply straight away and fully resolved the query first thing on Monday. Great service

Brought a charger from this company was fast delivery, well worth the money. Customer support were amazing when I thought there was a problem even though it turned out there wasn't. Highly recommend them

I had a question on one of their products so I availed of their WhatsApp option for contacting them. They responded to me within minutes and stuck with me until I had all the information I needed.
Great customer service and I would thoroughly recommend them.

The chargers are not compatible with Octopus energy.

When I returned the item (within 14 days) and unused/opened, they attempted to charge return delivery and a restocking fee. Both of which are not allowed under the consumers rights act 2015 distance selling regulations. After clarifying this, they provided a paid return label but still charged the restocking fee despite me being clear they should not be doing this. The cost may be small, but the implications are massive.

I am so glad I didn’t have any bigger problems as if they are willing to avoid consumer rights so easily, how do you think they would be when you face a problem like a faulty charger?

I don’t trust this company and won’t buy from them again. There is a reason their chargers are on the cheaper side.
