Previously good company gone down the toilet
Voymir have totally gone off the rails, under no circumstances use them, there are various theories for this, but I'll leave that for others to speculate on, what I can say however is that they have taken tens of thousands of pounds from customers and not delivered their goods.
There are currently several Airgun Forums running with large threads of hundreds of posts of customers let down and dumped detailing this - just check some of them out for evidence of this on a massive scale.
The owner basically had some sort of issues, but instead of dealing with his customers in an honest and forthright manner, he took their cash (many, many thousands of pounds worth) and abandoned them - a lot of promises made, a lot of emails sent with tracking numbers, and a lot of commitments of delivery - most of which were proven to be false, as the carrier never received the goods, just the order for them to generate the numbers which were never used, and so never delivered. This has happened to HUNDREDS of ORDERS, not just a couple.
This gave the company a large injection of cash quickly as they ran a "sale" of sorts to do this, but left hundreds of people, myself included, out of pocket by hundreds or thousands of pounds for products which were never supplied.
At no time did the owner come clean with this during the first 6 weeks or so, he kept taking orders and peoples money, knowing the orders were not leaving the premises, and either avoided communication, or fobbed people off for many weeks, (Christmas/strikes/you name it) forcing a raft of claims through paypal or another method of payment. To my knowledge, virtually all the paypal claims have been upheld for the customers, but clearly took months to wait for the goods, chase the goods, and finally, after giving up on Voymir, seeking a legal redress - which is so sad for a company which used to be good, but is now a blight on the Airgun industry. Currently, Voymir are now sending emails to customers with outstanding orders directing them to paypal, and are not even dealing with them themselves - how lovely.
So I hope they fold permanently, I know the vast majority of their repeat customers would not touch them with a barge pole, and you would have to be a fool to do so also.
