Like the meditations. Why the subscription model? Too expensive.
Good, but needs improvement
It's a good application, however, sometimes during the daily meditation practice the complex exercises take too much of the time and you're not left with enough time for regular breathing exercises to calm the mind.
This is my daily meditation app
This is my daily meditation app. I have found that using this daily over the past few years has given me better tools to manage a busy and hectic lifestyle. It's really odd, at first, to figure out that we are not our thoughts. However, after using this app I have found it is tremendously more easy to not get highjacked by emotion.
The reason this app is so useful, to me, is because there aren't courses that end after so many sessions. It seems like the who app, for the past 3 years, has been a course that just doesn't end. You have Sam Harris guiding your constantly every day. So, there is consistency in your 'instructor', which I enjoy. I like the fact that I have gotten used to his style, and I don't have to find another teacher once he finishes his set of lessons.
Also, his extra content is pretty awesome.
