Great service
Really great service from Steve today. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and explained everything clearly to us. We have a much better understanding of mice and how to keep them away. The whole service so far has been really efficient, including booking the appointment and follow up visits.

Was told someone would call just after 1pm to install a water butt, gentleman arrived just before 5 pm, job was done fine.would have been 5 stars but for the wasted afternoon !

Gardening Experience
Not the 1st time I am using the service store, but this is the 1st for gardening, 2 young guys visited and on time, job completed satisfactorily but they could have tidied up better, I asked for weeding and this was not done maybe because I ask them to put bark chip down so they never bothered, but the garden looks a lot better than before will use the service again but for a quick tidy up and not for big job!

Applied for water butt through council scheme, got call next day, booked in following day when it was installed promptly and with minimum fuss and mess. Very impressed.

He was so efficient, then once it was fitted, he explained how it worked and the positive impact it could have on our area. He left the site clean and tidy. Brilliant! So happy with my free water butt
I put in a request for a free water butt and received a call after 2 weeks to say it could be installed within a couple of days. A time and date was arranged.
On the day I had a call from the installation man, he turned up and installed the water butt which took perhaps 20-30 minutes. Then he showed me how to use it. He was friendly and polite. I recommend the service and now have a water butt to use, it is a large size water butt.

Had a water butt fitted by the most charming chap. He explained what was involved, offered different options to locate the water butt and was highly competent, completing the work really quickly and to a very high standard.

Bad experience rescheduling an appointment
I booked and paid for a series of visits from pest control. At the last visit, the pest controller asked us to reschedule the next visit. I couldn't find an online way to do that, and when I phoned the person on the line was unhelpful. She repeatedly explained to me that she had no note on her system about this, and gave me the impression she didn't want to reschedule and just wanted to argue about it. I had to insist. I don't think this was good enough customer service from the Council even if I hadn't paid quite a bit of money for this.

Faulty fitting by Service Store. No follow up.
We had a number of small jobs done by Service Store in December. All but one were completed satisfactorily. Two months later a lock and handle fitted broke as it was fitted incorrectly. I requested a free follow-up repair but was told the one-month guarantee had expired and we would have to pay again. Extremely poor service. Won’t be using this again.

Freezer removal
I wanted a tall, upright freezer taken away. Despite being told after applying online that I would hear back within two days I waited a week before I chased it up. The young lady I spoke to was very helpful and promised to chase it up. I subsequently received a quote via email and upon paying was advised I would be contacted within two days. The next day I received an email advising it would be collected from my front garden the following day between 9am and 4 pm. The problem with that was I am a widow in my late seventies and the person I had asked to assist could not be contacted. Fortunately, my next door neighbour came to the rescue and between us we manipulated it into the front garden. I think there should be provision for someone in my position to be assisted in removing the item from the house. I later received an email advising collection around 2:30pm and it was duly collected.
