Don't waste your time asking Player Support for help

I had a problem where my in game credits were disappearing. Player Support gave me the wrong reason for it, and I lost 4 million credits in all.
As it was their mistake I asked them to refund me the credits but I think I was talking to a robot as it just went around in circles constantly misunderstanding my problem and refusing to help. I had initially believed that fair play would triumph, because refunding me wouldn't actually cost them a penny
(because credits aren't real! ) and it was their fault but I was very wrong. Then I saw the reviews here and realised Player Support is just a joke and I was wasting my time.
I hope you learn from this and don't bother contacting Wargaming, they will never help you...

The Customer Support Team are terrible.

The Customer Support Team are terrible.

They ran a promotion that breached CAPA regulations in the UK. I fell foul and asked for moderate compensation due to statutory breach.

They were polite but failed to understand complaint and compensate.

Bearing in mind the compensation was token rather than punitive it was an easy win for them and just me politely trying to help them comply with regulations. But now its all got a bit serious and they still won't communicate effectively or put right the wrong.

Still pending further action at this stage. But Wargaming. net seem to mislead frequently and this is a shame as the game is great.

Dire

Dire, rude and totally uncooperative. I purchased an improved pass, but foolishly selected the wrong option. Easy fix, you'd think. I emailed their support and explained that, as there are only a handful of days left, would they allow me to swap the selection? No, apparently they can't do something that simple and went as far as telling me I ought to be more careful. I understand it was my error, but really?

Worst customer support on the planet.

Been playing this game for a while, spent more than 1000 EUR maybe even 2000 buying premium subscription, premium vehicles, special event items, everything really. Yes it can get THAT expensive.

Anyway, that is not the point, I had to stop playing when I run into their horrific customer support. I left unused gold, premium days, etc.

These people don’t care at all about their customers and their employees are unbelievably bad mannered. I guess its company culture to be like that.

Their tickets system is a joke too, if they like they will close the ticket themselves without the issue being resolved. I asked them to provide an email address for complaints. They just mocked me and told me to use their physical mail address and mail my complaint using the postal service.

Do not deal with this company, if you need their customer support be prepared for a nasty surprise. Free to play games offer WAY better customer support.

Worst Wargaming Staff Raiden Morgan for World Of Tanks Blitz

a person was spamming battle chats during burning games as he died fast i asked him to stop but he kept spamming so much that the sound from my pc home theatres made me dizzy and my ears ring hence reported him player name HK 7800.|

the same player now messaged me called me slurs and other names which i again complained with screenshots to wargaming staff and this fellow talked to me about rules saying,

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Wargaming Player Support.

With the update 6.7 we have added the function which allows you to receive messages from friends only. This function is set by default.

So, we stopped processing tickets that report violations in private messages.

By adding a player to a friend list, you accept to get his messages, regardless of the content.

To protect yourself from insults, we suggest:

Not to turn off this function in your settings.
Not to accept friendship requests from unknown players. If the violator is already on your friend list, we recommend removing him from your friends and block him.
If there is anything else, we can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Best regards,

so with what he said its clear there is a loophole in the rules and he refused to penalize the offender HK7800, pretty sure other staffs would have taken action but this staff always supports toxic people and shows us rules and regulations using loopholes.

worst company with worst support staff ever

Been playing World of Tanks since 2012

Been playing World of Tanks since 2012. The game has changed a bit over the years, sometimes that changes are goos and other times not so good. Overall it the best game I have found.
Sad that so many people on here knock the company, and it is amazing how many of them seem to have in-depth knowledge of the company, and how many continue to play the games.
Most that call Wargaming greedy are the same ones who want more and more things for nothing. They should look in the mirror and see just what greedy is.

Nice games shame about the Supportless team

Firstly Wargaming Games like World of tanks is brilliant. However every now and something happens that will require support.
Now for a company that has won so many awards and prides itself on customer experience why do they have a support team who are not fit for purpose.
This year I have needed support for missing items and so on.
EACH time the ticket has been closed - marked "solved" when no action has been done or a reply that simply negates any investigation.
My most recent one which has spurred me into this review sums up that lack of help.
I was given an ingame voucher for a discount - BY the game itself, so I clicked the link and it takes you to the premium shop which then says "no vouchers". So I create a ticket, they ADMIT there is a problem with thier system and apologise sending another link. All good so far, so I click the new link and exactly the same "no vouchers". So I reply and they take 2 weeks to come back - TICKET closed. I reopen the ticket and they say it has expired nothing they can do.
Now I do spend money in their premium shop, or rather from this point forward I did.
Im finding it hard to justify supporting a company that clearly does not care.

Game is still good :)

I have been a player since 2011.

I still like the game (World of Tanks) despite the recent updates.

Through the years I have spent about $700-800 on Premium Tanks, Premium Account and Gold in general. I even bought a Premium Tank for $25 just back in January.

I have played close to 33,000 battles.

I most likely will not play as much in the future, but I still find the game appealing at this point.

Be careful spending any money on this…

Be careful spending any money on this game. They sell you things to enhance crews and tanks. Then when they decide to do an "update" those crews are stripped away and your hard work destroyed and distributed elsewhere. They can do this at anytime, without warning. The game itself is actually a very poor experience now as well.

Thieving company has stolen from players, items 'won' in loot boxes arbitrarily deleted without compensation. Gold stolen from accounts. Crew skills stolen without compensation. And company fails to listen to complaints.

Personal attacks

Racism, discrimination and personal attacks from the staff makes this the worst company I have ever heard of. I am constantly getting bullied by a member of the staff and nobody in Wargaming cares. That person is giving me a ban every time I am buying something like gold or premium access. I am looking into getting back the money I spent. Spending money on premium time only to get a ban for fictional reasons feels bad. Luckily I used Paypal who doesn't tolerate businesses that do not give me what I payed for.

Bad bad company

I really don’t understand this update at all. You’ve got 90% of the community unhappy. You’ve got people making long lists of changes they would like to see. Most of the points are to just change new things back to the old ways. Do the developers really want to be working hard with angry customers over the Christmas break changing their 6.0 into 5.0 without doing a revert.

Someone please explain to me what the business decision here is for not reverting back to 5.0? I don’t get how this is going to make them money or encourage new players to join. Someone with business acumen please enlighten me.

The main enjoyment I got out of this game was making my crews and therefore tanks better. That is gone now, so am I.

Game graphics are only thing what is…

Game graphics are only thing what is good. Rest utterly sucks. Tank armours are balanced for premium shells. With standard ammo is getting harder to penetrate something tier by tier. Some ridiculous premium tanks, for example, ELC EVEN 90. Its camo ratings are broken ( OP ). It asks skills for sure, to master it, but at the end you have to come to conclusion game is P2W. To upkeep T10 tanks in your garage, have to have multiply other smaller tier tanks ( T6,T7,T8 ) for additional income. Or you might think that also skills are required to get better in income, but not only that. Also you can get prem spammed. Previously LOWEs were a good source of income...until you get spammed with prem shells, so..pain in the ass. Other option is premium vehicles, which are loads of them. After all updates even T34, which was a good prem tank, has become a garbage. Same as IS-6 and rest of prem tanks. Tanks for bonds....yeah sure, but have to get all those bonds for good perfomance...but yet again, gold spamm will make you struggle to make it done. Basicly I came to situation that all tanks are bad, because of gold spam. Maus is the only tank basically who can withstand goldspam, but it is sloooow and huuuge tank, so FV4005, Types and artys will eat you down. Types...yeah sure. Their armor also is useless, cause gold spam. They are worthless lane pushers. All heavy tanks, which are meant to be heavy lane pushers are basically launch time for others for free exp. Artys...pretty useless overthere. Reallly....really hard to get any expierence, all ratings are dropping with them. New EBR 105 is broken and makes harder to go after other light tanks, cause of its speed and small size. EBRs mysteriously have really precise shots while driving. That become really annoying. When Defender came in, it was OP tank for short time of period, cause gold spam. No preferential MM for it. The only way of not getting angry cause of premium ammo is to play papertanks.

Ou wait, after updates, even IS-4 has become better tank than T110E5. what? ._.

It is not playable game, cause of premium shells and armors balanced for it. For fun, yes, sure. Do it, if you are not into making performance and better results, but in-game toxic players will eat you alive.

Wargaming employees illegally rig accounts

Wargaming employees illegally rig players accounts to give their sponsored hacker clans even more of an advantage then what their illegal mods already bring, wargaming employees will rig your account, match making, your tanks rng, your tanks overall stats to perform 100% worse then what the stats say and in game mechs allow, they never update any tech trees besides the russian tech tree, wargaming employees will ban you on forums and in game chat for life for asking them questions they refuse or cant answer because they pay people for false information about tanks and claim its 'historical' they only things in this game that are historical is the tank names (and still not even then) everything else is made up wargaming fantasy, not even the tank models in game are correct especially the German tanks which they still keep changing and making worse example: look at the maus in game 2020 look how far above the ground the front lower plate is, look how far up the tank sits on its rollers, then go look at an actual ww2 photo of a maus and see the height difference. another example: every German tank past t5 is as tall and wide as a maus. another example: all German tanks have the slowest shell velocities in game besides arty, some of the shortest signal ranges (especially past tier7 which most are all shorter then russian tanks signal ranges by a good 20-40 meters+, german tanks have non existent spaced armor values (including the values wot gives for tracks). any german tank you can shoot it pretty much anywhere any angle and hit its engine fuel tank or ammo rack and yet you can pump 10+ shoots directly into a russian tanks ammo rack and fuel tank and nothing will happen. criminal charges need to be brought against this company for its complete disregard of gaming laws and claiming false information as historical fact.
