The gentleman who went through my palm…

The gentleman who went through my plan with myself was amazing, explained everything had an amazing customer service, was nice to actually speak to someone with enthusiasm and bubbly. Definitely recommend especially to new customers who have never paid for servicing this way like myself.

I’m so happy to leave this 5-Star review for John Mcloughlin, who was more than just a warranty-sales professional, but also a very genuine and honest man who listened so well to my financial circumstances and offered me the advice that will be most suitable to me. He’s an extremely friendly and experienced man who knows a lot about the car industry and Im very happy with the warranty he offered me for my M3 F80 (which I felt stressed after posting off the deposit, but speaking to John gave me a great piece of mind), and he’s very easily accessible and always there to help with any advice.

What a brilliant experience ive had…

What a brilliant experience ive had dealing with this company. The garage was paid the same day as soon as my repairs were authorised. Robyn was very helpful while dealing with my claim. Would definitely recommend!

Lie to get your business, have no integrity despite a recording of the sales call

I purchased a warranty from Warranties UK after being told on the sales call that electrical and mechanical faults were covered.

When my car developed an electrical fault (boot mechanism and rear lights), the claim was refused because the specific parts weren’t listed in the policy.

Although described as covering electrical faults, the actual cover is far more limited than expected. They also suggested “wear and tear” without providing any evidence.

I have the original sales call recording and they acknowledge that the sales person told me “all electrical faults covered” but that changes nothing for this company.

Very disappointing experience. I’ve now escalated this to the Financial Ombudsman Service, however… as this company is not regulated, they are unable to assist.

Ignore what the sales person tells you, and make sure you read the fine details carefully before purchasing…. Or better still, find a company that is regulated and held accountable for what their sales people tell you

would strongly advise not to use this company

would strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with Car Warranties UK.

I was sold a warranty policy that wasn’t due to start for 6 months, yet payment was still taken from me immediately. When I tried to cancel the policy before it had even begun, my request was refused.

I have now returned the car and no longer even have the vehicle, yet I have still been charged for a warranty I cannot use.

This has left me completely out of pocket and without a car, which is incredibly frustrating and unacceptable.

I am currently raising a formal complaint and will be escalating this further if the matter is not resolved.

I would recommend reading reviews carefully before taking out a policy.

This company is an absolute joke.I've tried to get my car repaired.Basically, you've gotta pay everything up front.And then you can't claim it, back.It's not very nice and thay only pay £50 labour that joke i wunt my money back taking £1600 of me for nothing. I took the warranty out, so I basically don't have to do anything.If the car goes wrong, it gets repaired.

I had a really great experience with…

I had a really great experience with Warranties UK, especially with Nday who I spoke to directly. From start to finish, Nday was professional, patient and very helpful. Everything was explained clearly, and I didn’t feel rushed or pressured at any point.

It’s rare to speak to someone who genuinely takes the time to make sure you understand your options, but that’s exactly what I got. The whole process was smooth and straightforward.

Not worth the paper its written on

Dealt with Kam, nice guy, but of course he is. Hes selling me something .

So first of all I was contacted after buying my new car, all good, I wanted some kind of warranty.
However off the bat I was told I kind of needed to take the "new customer special offer" before I pick the car up as it starts straight away.
And that the price could really only be guaranteed untill end of today.

So naturally I agreed to a call back that day, but i wanted everything in an email to read through and be thorough.
Im glad I was!

I told Kam "I do ALOT of miles" so wanted a warranty, after I received the email and read reviews I had a thought, is there a milage cap?

Sure enough there is, 11k miles.
But I told Kam I do around 20k, at no point did he mention it would invalidate the warranty come claim time.
If I hadn't gone to the website and read, I wouldn't have known.
He didnt say and it wasnt in the email.

The email also said clutches both manual and auto was covered.
This isnt the case, its just auto.
So again if i didnt question it i would have thought it was covered.

He did go away and get permission from his boss to extend the 11k mile cap to 25k.
But my quote went from £1100 to £2100 for 4 year.

I then asked for term and conditions as i felt like I was being a bit pressured and misled. But no, this cant be given without a payment first.

So they WILL NOT give you full terms and conditions untill you have made a first payment, in my case £201. Ok refundable apparently, but why should I pay before I know the terms of what im paying for?
When I started asking too much, the line cut off.

Now from someone who always rang me back asap....they didn't ring me back for about 90mins. Then just an abrupt text and then nothing back or no call.
Yet a few days before that rang me within 2mins of me sending an email.

So no, I won't be a customer thanks.

Warranty wise offered me a better deal, and sent a 34 page booklet with all their terms of service. They are also one of the highest rated in England. And beat your quote.
Oh and unlimited milage.

The pressure selling needs to stop and you need to be transparent with your terms of sale.

EDIT:
and to the people leaving 5 star reviews after taking the policy out literally a week ago...ypu HAVEN'T used the policy yet, your rating 5 star based on them selling you something.
Wait till you try to make a claim and then leave a review.

Its like buying a TV, leaving it in the box and then saying how good it is...without taking it out the box or using it.

Its so unhelpful for people looking to buy a policy because they see 5 star and think "brilliant".
But if you've not made a claim then dont rate them, because looking at 6 months old reviews with 1 star, the biggest problem isnt handing over the money to take the policy out, its the refusal of most claims and not telling people about milage caps.

STOP leaving 5* reviews untill you have made a successful claim on your car!!

Of course your happy with the happy lovely friendly sales rep who wants your money and gets a commission. Of course you feel happy and secure with your new policy.
Naturally you want to praise the sales rep and give credit where its due.
But remember of course they're friendly, they are SELLING you something.

Wait till you try to claim, you won't get through to their "direct line" as promised. Just read the reviews.
