It was the first time I am ordering groceries from Waso as I see quite a few discounts that Iam interested. I placed the order and realized one item was not in its discounted price, I sent a message to Waso WhatsApp, I did not expect a reply on Sunday but replies were received throughout the day. Discount was applied manually after I purchased and my bank is charged at the correct charge. There were some canceled items, no refund received in 2 weeks, WhatsApp the cs again, reply received in 2 days, and by the time I had received a reply, I can see a refund was already in place in my bank. Excellent customer support which is rare in UK. Some food was great some was not to my taste, however, the shopping experience was fantastic, will definitely buy again.

I've been ordering regularly from WASO for almost 2 years now. Their sashimi and wagyu especially, are reasonably priced and very fresh. Excellent customer service too - they're very accommodating in making changes to my orders and always reply within minutes.

I recently tried out Waso Tokyo and ordered sushi rice and Juja tea. The delivery was impressively fast, and I received everything promptly. As a first-time customer, I'm thrilled with the high-quality products and affordable pricing. Waso has become my go-to online supplier for my personal kitchen needs. Thanks a lot, Waso Tokyo! ❤️

I've been ordering from Waso for about a year, and they have become a weekly shop for me. I can get Japanese ingredients that are hard to find and the quality is excellent 99% of the time. I can get my Japanese junk food fix as well as specialty foods too. Customer service has been excellent. On a couple of occasions there has been a minor hiccup on my order, but it was resolved within a day. I've not tried their ready meals but they look yummy. Mostly I order ingredients so I can make my favourite meals my mother used to make. I also love that I can order and it can be delivered within a day or I can book it for the following week. Super convenient. Yes, there is a minimum free delivery charge but it is very reasonable. During the new year, I was able to get all the ingredients I needed to make osechi ryori, even a couple of last minute items. They also started to carry a curated selection of premium items that made for lovely treats. I am a fan and will continue to shop with Waso as often as I can. If you love Japanese food they are brilliant. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Just made my first order, which came promptly. High quality products and well packaged, using dry ice to maintain freshness of frozen items. The packaging of one of the products I ordered had split, so I emailed customer services. I was amazed to receive a polite reply in less than 30 minutes, apologising and informing me that a replacement would be sent. I received the replacement the following day. Very impressed.

Package broken and received refund immediately. Very good customer service

Not sure about the hygiene standards of this company - not using again.

I've just discovered Waso and I have ordered twice and more than impressed.
The quality is amazing and the range of different foods is incredible.
Their customer service is brilliant and refunded straight away for a damaged item.

It feels a bit dodgy here. It automatically saved my bank debit card details, and it says there is free delivery anywhere in the UK, but in reality you have to spend £60 or more. Now my bank details and personal information have been permanently kept by WASO, and I’m worried and confused.

The sashimi I received was not in the best condition, it appeared melted and then refrozen. I reached out to the CS and they are responsive and helpful. Other products looks fine just the product info in website is not detailed enough.

I would highly recommend WASO and will continue shopping as often possible.
I always miss the delicious foods from Japan after coming back. So it's perfect for cooking my own dishes.
The ready to cook, frozen dishes/foods, fruit and vegetable and snacks sections etc- are brilliant too.
Customer support is exceptional.
When my frozen products got delayed by the postal service and they arrived defrosted. They resent my frozen items immediately.

I initially had a delivery issue with my Chutoro order, which was frustrating during an already challenging period. WASO promptly reshipped it exactly as described, and I am deeply grateful for their quick, attentive, and caring service.

The Chutoro is my essential comfort food that sustains me through this difficult period. Being able to enjoy it without having to go to Japan Centre makes life that much easier. I am very satisfied with their responsiveness, care, and overall service.

First order of sashimi and wagyu was really great, subsequent orders the quality has dropped disappointingly

We ordered some sashimi, scallops, fish roe and Wagyu beef and it was all delicious! Came very quickly and was very much frozen.

Could have done with more instructions though - whether to rinse under cold or hot water, rinse in the packaging or not? We left it in the fridge for 4 hours and it was still frozen!

Overall, a good experience but instructions could be clearer!

Speedy and well packed delivery. I ordered frozen eel for a few times and it was always well packed with dry ice and insulation. The items are always in good conditions.

We are regular sashimi eaters. I saw waso advertised on facebook. I thought let’s give a try with this company. However we couldn’t regret more. It was delivered with a plastic bag not properly boxed with ice as other companies do. The quality of the food is poorer than normal fish market. Definitely not sashimi grades. I was shocking by the whole experience. And after I told them come to collect the junk food I paid a lot, the owner of the company totally ignored and encouraged me to make future order. AVOID!!!

These folks are fantastic, super quick delivery, quality of everything I’ve had has been great. Customer service is outstanding, had an incorrect item on an order, had a reply straight away when I emailed them and they sorted the correct items for reshipment immediately.
