My watch came damaged, with a dented bezel, chipped glass, and a rusty band. I opened a complaint within 10 mins of the email from Aus Post stating I’d picked it up, and they have refused a refund. Terrible company.
Had a good experience
My Seiko Watch is fantastic and was delivered promptly during advised shipping windows. There was a slight delay due to the volume of orders from boxing days sales, however, customer support responsed to my enquiry promptly via email

If I can give them zero I will surely do… I bought a G- Shock in October 2024 for 975 bucks… in less than one year it stopped working after I went for swimming… I sent it back as it was still under warranty.. they sent the watch to Casio for assessment and after 6 weeks waiting they want to charge me 586 bucks for repairs !!! Total scam and rip off!!! Avoid these people

All SEIKO watches sold are made in China and Malaysia not Japan. May be better off buying through a reputable dealer.
Dispatch is too slow
I wouldn't order from here again no in-stock product should take 8 working days to dispatch. This seems like it is just standard for them

Wrong Watch, Very Bad Experience.
Order #WD400067542
I ordered a Citizen Promaster Fugu NY0130-08E but they sent me a very different watch inside a very ordinary box instead of the cylinder container that usually comes when you order a Citizen Promaster watch.
I emailed them but ai am so confused on their responses telling me I received a Seiko watch but I sent them photos clearly showing the watch is a Citizen but again it is not the watch I ordered.
My experience with this online purchased I made with them is so disappointing. Now I am still waiting for them to fix this issue otherwise I will ask my money back to me thru a refund.
Hope this won't happen to others in the future.
This is a Very Bad experience for me.
Ordered a new seiko watch
Ordered a new seiko watch. Watch depot had quick and accurate replys to any queries I had with regards to warranty and band adjustment.
Watch arrived within a week adjusted to my requested size, warranty details were submitted under my name to seiko.
Considering this is on average 100 or 200 dollars cheaper than other sellers and the customer service was excellent I'm not sure why you wouldn't buy from here.
Unable to provide remedy on poor quality product.
Unable to provide remedy on a poor quality seiko alpinist that arrived with scratches as seiko considered it within their standards and I've had to pay to have it repaired. However they did waive any and all additional costs in regards to having it sent away and inspected which I am able to say took the sting out of the experience somewhat and made me feel better taken care of. As such my star rating is more reflective of Seiko and the product I received and less the service by watchdepot. Their shipping is also pretty solid as the watch did initially arrive at my door from across the country within a day.
Surprisingly good phone support!
Had to go out of my way to write this review. Usually I'm not one to review anything, but these guys deserve the mention.
Trying to remain as unbiased as possible, I ordered a watch at the end of November that had not arrived by mid December. Being a Christmas present, I began to panick, so I reached out.
While communication wasn't initially too great through their email support portal, I gave them a call, and "wow" is all I can say. While the order wasn't dispatched until the 19th of December, about 3 business days before Christmas, they went above and beyond with my order to ensure I got it before Christmas.
I recieved my order the following day (Friday 20th of Dec) through express post (which they upgraded for me based on goodwill). This package came interstate too!
The reason for delay was acceptable also, they provided me with an in-depth explanation over the phone, as well as a perfectly reasonable ETA - From my understanding, a quality issue with the initial watch they were sent from their supplier caused them to have to source another product (and the item was on clearance too. Another bonus since I did not expect them to be able to fulfil the order in that case).
They even offered me a full refund or alternate item 'swap' several times (which they were adamant would dispatch almost immediately), to which I politely declined as my particular order was to meet a specific niche, and I had faith that they would fulfil my original order, to which they complied.
The item was packaged nicely and in complete working order, and the package even included a $20 discount coupon for future use.
I have since used the coupon on a second order, and will definitely buy from them again. While the initial delay intially caused question, their over-the-phone customer support and despute resolution was more than brilliant. 5 stars.
PSA: For anyone questioning pricing or legitimacy, many 'grey' market dealers lower the cost of their watches through their partnerships with front facing jewelers, and sell unwanted, untouched or 'old' stock. Their lower margins are attributed to the fact they do not need to store or display the watches in a storefront, helping lower the cost. In this case, Watch Depot is based out of Adelaide, South Australia, and partners with Shiels. And yes, the watch came with a one year Seiko digital international warranty.
Just Don't.
Imagine this scenario: it's 2024 and you can shop online from anywhere. You're experienced in buying from online stores and know what to expect.
You decide to buy a new watch from what looks to be a large and reputable seller. The price is about the same as other sellers you've bought from in the past and had good experiences with, but you decide to give this new mob a go.
Remember - it's 2024, and online retailers have had a couple of decades to sort out their processes and streamline pretty much every aspect of their business.
Now imagine you wait 9 days for the company you bought from to even get around to picking and packing your purchase. How is this even remotely acceptable? In what must be some sort of twisted joke, the company offers (and charges a premium for) Express Post delivery! Why? If you're going to take so long to even prepare an order for shipment why offer an Express Post option?
I should never have moved away from Watsons Jewelers - they have the same range, the same prices and they ship next day FREE delivery, and you get your watch within a couple of days of purchase.
I don't buy a huge number of watches every year, maybe 4 or 5, but I will never, ever, EVER buy from Watch Depot again.
No Christmas present !!
I ordered a watch on 7th of December to arrive for a Christmas present. I paid the additional delivery to upgrade to express which from memory was 2-3 days. I get an email today, 17th of December my order was cancelled. Pathetic & not happy this close to Christmas. I live rurally so not only do I now have no Christmas present for my partner, it be too late to try organise anything else.
