Fantastic company have helped my 1 year old massively increase her confidence in water, it’s now one of her favourite activities in the week! Have completed most of our classes with Lizzie so far who was amazing and very recently moved to a new class which is abit bigger but still fun to attend :)

We absolutely love the swimming lessons for our 2-year-old son! He has gained so much confidence in the water and really enjoys every session. The instructor is brilliant—so friendly, patient, and great with the little ones. It’s lovely to see his progress each week, and he always looks forward to his swimming lesson. We would highly recommend these lessons to anyone with young children! 🏊♂️💙😊

My daughter started from 5 weeks old and we’ve never looked back! Shes always been super confident in the water and it’s all down to the amazing staff and the patience and charisma that they bring to each lesson. My youngest isn’t the biggest fan of water but she’s come so far with these classes. 1000000% recommend Water Babies, the best one by far ☺️

We've been with water babies for two years, starting the sessions at. Around 5 months old. The progression has been great, we've had a few slips whilst bouncing around in the bath but straight away the water safety skills from the sessions get used.
We have Lizzie, who honestly is the nicest person, and she even went out of her way to learn some BSL/Makaton to incorporate into the sessions. She remembers all the children's names and is so warm and friendly, the children really love the lessons. I can't recommend water babies enough; not only are they taught to swim, but they build the confidence that children need to enjoy water safely!!

The instructor, Leanne, was so friendly and welcoming and really put me at ease about any concerns I had. My 6 month old really likes her, as she is so lovely and playful with the babies. My baby is learning new skills and has gone from being so unsure to confidently going underwater and playing in the pool with her dad. It’s so lovely to see her grow. It’s great.

We’ve been going for a year now since my son was 4months old and we absolutely love it,
We did have the lovely Lizzie then due to unfortunate circumstance we had to move classes and we’re now with Victoria and she is amazing so far , they’re so caring and attentive to my son and his progress. I’d definitely recommend water babies 10/10 💗💗

Great company to start your baby swimming with! I'm not water confident but with water babies I feel confident with their support on our swimming journey. I started my son at 4 month old and now at 13 months he absolutely loves our Thursday sessions. During our sessions they only progress as fast as baby would like. there is no pushing if baby doesn't feel confident then they take a step back and do what makes baby feel confident. I would definately 100% recommend water babies to anybody with a young baby that's would like to start their swimming journey!

We’ve only had one lesson however Leanne is so open and welcoming and really makes you feel comfortable in the water with your little one. Any nerves there was were illuminated within that first session and I look forward to every lesson with our boy moving forward.

I have been swimming with my daughter Olive since she was 12 weeks old and she is now nearly 2. She loves the water and loves her lessons and our friends were amazed when we went on a family holiday how confident she was in the water and how she was able to get herself out. We are expecting a second child and we will be taking our new baby too!

I honestly couldn't recommend Water Babies enough! My son Lorenzo has been attending since he was 4 months old and the confidence he has in the water is fantastic! It has also really helped me to bond with other mums and enjoy these lessons with him. We go to the Loyne school in Lancaster and Jackie is our instructor and honestly, she is an amazing person inside and out! She is so happy and approachable, my son loves her and she teaches the lessons in such a fun way that doesn't seem too complicated or full on. What I also love about Jackie is that even when there are lessons where my son is not in a good mood, she let's him do things his way so he can still enjoy it. Being able to take my son to a place where he can learn to swim confidently while having fun and forming friendships is the greatest thing ever. And Water Babies make this possible and I'm so grateful for their kindness and compassion to their jobs. To them it's not just a job, it's a part of who they are. Love them!!

We have been absolutely delighted with these swimming classes for our 2-year-old baby girl. Her instructor is brilliant—so enthusiastic, patient and encouraging, creating a fun and positive environment every lesson.
Our little girl used to be nervous about going underwater, but she has now become so confident that she happily goes under in the pool without being scared. The progress she has made has been incredible!
We were especially proud to see her demonstrate the skills she had learned during our holiday, impressing everyone with her confidence and ability in the water. It is wonderful to see how much she enjoys swimming now.
We couldn’t recommend these classes and her fantastic instructor highly enough!

I’ve really been enjoying taking my baby to Water Babies. The instructors are amazing especially Anna who does our Wednesday classes. I love that you get in the water with your baby, the instructors are patient and understanding especially for me a non-swimming parent. Taking my baby for classes encouraged me to sign up for my own swim lessons too!

My son loves his lessons with Water Babies! He wasn’t sure at first and the instructor was understanding and adapted the activities to suit him! The courtesy classes are a good system for catch ups, as my partner can take him at the weekends too! Whenever I’ve spoken to the office they’re always so helpful and friendly!

I had a very disappointing experience with Water Babies.
At first, I had to explain several times that I was not comfortable making any payment over the phone and that I would only make the payment online. Despite this, I continued to receive calls for a considerable amount of time before they eventually agreed to complete the process online.
Unfortunately, things did not improve from there. They entered my daughter’s surname incorrectly in their system. I contacted them several times asking for this to be corrected and clearly explained that I would only make the payment once my daughter’s full name had been entered correctly.
The issue was never properly resolved. I continued to receive emails asking me to make the payment and stating that my daughter’s name had been corrected, even though it was still incorrect. As a result, I did not make the payment and eventually lost the opportunity to attend the classes.
What was particularly disappointing was that when new classes became available, I was not contacted or informed about them, despite the previous communication and my clear interest in attending.
Overall, I found the experience unnecessarily frustrating and the communication very poor. I would have expected a much more straightforward and attentive approach, especially when the issue was something as simple as correcting a child’s name in their records.

We started classes when my little one was 12 months. Has been almost a year now and my kid has been enjoying them and being in the water. Lots of fun activities, songs and new skills. Our teacher has been fantastic as well, very kind and patient.

We are really enjoying our water babies classes; our instructor Jo is brilliant and makes us feel completely at ease, and keeps the classes moving and fun. Our baby seems to really enjoy being in the water, and the classes make it a more structured experience so she never gets bored!

We started Water Babies when my little one was just 4 weeks old and continued all the way through until he turned 6, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough.
Watching him go from such a tiny baby in the water to a happy, confident and completely independent swimmer has been amazing. The lessons grow with them, building water confidence, safety skills and swimming ability at every stage, while still keeping everything fun and engaging.
The teachers have been incredible throughout — patient, encouraging and genuinely invested in their progress. It’s given them such a brilliant relationship with the water and skills that will stay with them for life.
Seeing my 6-year-old now swimming independently and so confidently makes all those lessons from 4 weeks old completely worth it. One of the best things we’ve done, yes it is more expensive than other providers but you get what you pay for and we wouldn't recommend any other swim school to anyone.
We cannot wait to bring our latest addition on her swimming journey.
Big shout out to our teachers over the years and to the girls in the office! Thank you so much x
