I have actual birth/baptism records for my ancestors. Went to RI to possibly find missing bits. It could not even find any of the 6 records that are on the free Irish Genealogy website. And their search criteria are awful. 18 quid for one day. Arses.

I have been using various genealogy sites over 20yrs since I retired & I have come to the conclusion that whilst some sites may have more information than others, it can also be that some sites 'suit' different people. However, when I subscribed to this site - quite some time ago, all I can say was is that I was very confused with their results relating to my family in Waterford . Some of it was ok but a lot of it was really really confusing. Today I have gone back with a fresh mind and approach to my Waterford research. I then realised that a couple of years ago, when they gave me a result regarding the marriage of my (well known) great grand parents it was absolutely 'off the wall'. They gave the Grooms Name of that of his son - born 4 yrs later! Their information certainly didn't help which was why I ceased my subscription. Initially I just thought it was just not that good, but now on reflection, to include a previous range of other results which I got - I'm am sorry but I think that they are they are poor! Some might think that with 20yrs experience I should have noticed all this; which has some merit. But the Waterford connection has been difficult which is why I pursued the other elements using other sites more frequently and successfuly, and I can't believe that the penny didn't drop to me earlier. But in my defence, I just thought that they were pretty useless and didn't take a lot of notice.

A complete waste of money. Even when l have the full facts and dates they couldn't find marriage cert.

People I know exist, marriage and birth records cannot be found on this website. Really dont waste your money. A very expensive disappointment.

I got a month of this. I am actually finding some records that are not on familysearch, I like that the actual records are attached at the bottom. Some transcripts like other sites are in correct. Remember names are in Latin on the record but are in English on the transcripts. Example Jacobum is James or Gulielmi is William or Willie Joannes is John. Etc. Over all im finding a lot.

Just signed up, Hugh mistake - lucky I only signed for a month. Do not buy this so called service, it’s rubbish and you will waste time finding out its rubbish.

Extremely poor web site, very little new information, what is on it can be obtained on free Irish sites. A complete waste of €30.

This site is useless all they want is your money. Bought a one day subscription for €15, a total waste of money.I could not find anything useful on the site & when I did see something that may have been relevant I had to update to premium to look at the entry,it should be closed down. to stop people being ripped off.Don't use this site, save your money.

Huge volume of records available to search. Very east to navigate site. Good value for money. Probably the best Irish site.

Very limited as I have found so far all of the private for profit sites. No results even with testing with forbears for whom I had all the details. Spend your money on a scratch card as you will have a beter chance of a result.

Wish I had read other reviews before parting with my money. Luckily I only took a one day subscription, but it was a total waste of 15 euro (or whatever the exchange rate was for my aus dollars) Total waste of money. They hold no records of documents I have already confirmed, and certainly nothing new for this researcher. Very disappointed. Don't waste your money!

I was trying to track down my parents marriage certificate. Both parents were born in Ireland and I have both their original birth certificates.
The site could not find their marriage certificate so I thought I would test it by searching for their birth certificate records.
I entered the information directly from my father's birth certificate. Every part of the search form was filled correctly and the site could not find any record. I did the same with my Mother's birth certificate and it had zero results. A total waste of 15 Euros!!!!!!!

Absolutely rubbish what I have found I have found previously for free and more. Most of the documents I've found for free I can't find. Hardly any links to documents and doesn't show hardly any 1900 records. I was expecting this site to be really good and it's rubbish what a waste of £26. My advice to you is don't waste your money. You can't even search for the census for some areas such as Roscommon. I am very very disappointed every other sites have access to Irish records other than Irish roots. I was expecting hours and hours of researching and has turned out to be a couple of hours.
