Worst Purchase Ever Made in Entire Life - The Airhead 'Toilet'

Bought an Airhead from them in 2020 out of sheer desperation during second lockdown. Live in a boat, boat had no toilet, with lockdown access removing our capacity to use public or shop loos our desperation lead us to make this incredibly expensive rash purchase - which after all this time of use, is effectively a bucket with a toilet seat. In fact, when we used a bucket, it was easier to deal with and far less mess. I would go back to the bucket if I didn't have to live with having spent over 1k on this piece of garbage. As it is, staring at it has become my life lesson on not making rash purchases or trust any product with heavy marketing language.

First, there seem to be nearly no negative reviews on this toilet found online, given how terrible it is, I can only assume it's because they companies making and selling them have filtered them out, it says on this site: "Only logged in customers who have purchased this product may leave a review. If this does not work for you, please send your review to (insert company email)"

They seem to have included one negative review, not mine, despite my request that they do. They also posted this in response to the only posted negative review for the 'toilet' in question:

"Martin Doyle (store manager) – December 16, 2021

Hi Catherine. We were sorry to hear of the troubles. We know the toilet can and does work and we’re working with you and the manufacturer to try to solve this for you."

This is also a lie, the woman is correct, the diverter does not actually divert, more than half the fluids go directly into the 'solids' chamber leaving a disgusting mess. And their only idea on 'working with the manufacturer' was asking me to package up the used toilet to send it to Portugal for them to review it, when I refused to do this monstrously laborious request, then they just ignored me.

It's been two long years with this horrible bucket now, and I can say with absolute certainty it is the worst purchase I have ever made. If there was any accountability in this country for false advertising, this company would have been shut down long ago. But as it is, they're still around. So I'm going to break down the worst of the lies in the advert for anyone who is still in the market for a waterless toilet to save them the expense and horror of owning it...

"Another major advantage of the Air Head is its female-friendly design. With many other urine separating toilets, it becomes something of a trial to ensure that liquids are processed through the pipe that leads to the liquid waste tank. Due to the design of the Air Head’s automatic separating system, this is no longer an issue. Even if urine does occasionally escape into the solid waste tank, the drying system negates any contamination relating to composting."

No, it is NOT female friendly. There are NO women involved in the upper management or retail or manufacturing; and as a woman using it, it does not separate the fluids in any way shape or form, for women urinating or for men who drink a lot of water and have high pressure wee. The 'drying system' is smaller and less powerful than the fan on a desktop computer. It does take the smell to outside, which when you're standing near to smells terribly; but it does not 'dry' anything, calling it a 'drying system' just shows how manipulative the language is used to push this product on people. As it is, the fluids container needs emptying ever 2-3 days and the 'solids' container will need emptying at least once a week because it will be full of fluid. There is zero point using it for 'solids' as because of the fluid leakage, it will just lead to wasting a lot of money on coir trying to absorb it all.

The shop owner and the 'toilet' manufacturers' are liars, so don't waste your time. I am writing this only in the hope that I can save even just one person from going through the hell we have gone through because of this purchase by stopping them from ever buying it.
