Our recent experience with this company was not good
Our recent experience with this company was less than acceptable. In fact, the 2-star rating is generous. We have given this company every opportunity to rectify their deceit and dishonesty, yet they are choosing to remain silent. We have no choice now but to share the details of our experience with others so that they can avoid the same. We are writing reviews with Google, TrustPilot, Yelp and the BBB. The best way to share our experience is to publish the letter we sent them (which they have not even acknowledged). Do not fire this company.

Pool Leak / Repair

We have been waiting for our 30-day warranty period to expire prior to writing this letter.
It has now expired and we will no longer be needing your services regarding this matter or any matter in the future.
We want to go on record, again, that we were very disappointed as to how you handled our pool leak transaction. It was disreputable at best.
As you know, we ultimately paid the invoice of $3,000 in order to get the leak repaired and for you to exit our property. We put in writing before then, however, that we felt your original quote for repair did not reflect what had truly happened.
Your quote was for $1,620 to repair an underground leak. Unfortunately, your subcontractors penetrated and put a hole in a pipe (that they admitted to doing) in the first (and wrong) dig area. You claim that that was the leak and charged us $1,620. That was not the leak.
You continued digging and finally found the leak in the flex line to the jet body. That was obviously always the leak. You did not have to replace the jet body. You tried to say that the job would be $3,510 since you had to do more digging.
We refuted that notion as it in no way reflected your original bid. You had to repair the one leak that was identified. Because your subcontractor caused a second leak, we should not have been responsible for it. You relented and indicated it would still be $3,000, a full $1,380 over the original bid of $1,620. At that point we knew we were working with a less than honest company. After the leak was repaired, we tested the repair for three days and paid the $3,000 to have you put our pool area back in order and leave. We felt we had no choice other than to do the above, wait the 30-day warranty period to see if the repair held and ultimately write this letter to voice extreme dissatisfaction as to how we were treated.
We would like our situation reviewed. We would like acknowledgement that the price we paid was not reflective of your original quote for repair and receive the appropriate refund of $1,380.
We will await your response.
