Having experienced some bad dentistry in my life, I was in need of some urgent treatment. I rang round and the only dentist happy to see me that day was Gulshan. And there began a journey that has given me back my smile. As a lady the wrong side of 60 I have discovered that the best way to look younger is to smile and Gulshan has really devoted himself to giving me the best smile possible. He explains what he is doing, he takes away the anxiety of being in the chair and he is dedicated to his work. Whatever treatment you need I doubt you would get better than him….. that is why although I no longer live in Watford I am happy to do a 100 mile round trip to see him. He is the best!

Every visit to this clinic has been a pleasure, not something one would normally hear about the dentists, but I wanted to share my experience at Skin and Smiles, I almost look forward to the next visit.
I took advantage of a first free consultation in which my options were outlined, and led onto several others for investigation, 3D scanning, Xrays, and discussions about what I wanted to achieve.
Dr Murgai is honest in what can be achieved, is most detailed in his explanations of treatment and costs. His range of high-tech equipment is outstanding and it complements his professional skill and personable manner, along with his in-depth knowledge and consummate expertise has ensured each visit has been most beneficial. He explained each step of the process and allowed me several options with a full financial breakdown of costs and the honest expectation of the desired outcome. There was no pressure to chose the any particular options, the possibilities of what could be achieved and at what price was my choice and I’m so very pleased with the work.
The team at this clinic are pleasant, professional and most importantly are friendly yet efficient; nothing is too much trouble. I always feel confident in their capacity to put me at my ease. The practice manager phones a couple of days after major works to enquire how I feel and I know that if there was a problem, their 24-hour support line is there if needed. I know they would accommodate me at very short notice, later the same day if needed. The team which surrounds Dr Murgai are wonderful, his practice manager, his dental nurses, his hygienist, and his laboratory technicians are superb and experts in their particular dental field.
My teeth/gums have deteriorated over the years and whilst I’ve had treatment by other dentists over the years, it was time to seriously assess my long-term prospects. Dr Murgai took a holistic approach of my mouth, and we discussed the options available. This was reassuring and I didn’t feel as though I was just another customer. The different costs of alternative treatments were thoroughly explained in a treatment plan and I was given the choice of which of the packages I wanted. I’ve felt safe and reassured in every way since my first free consultation to my very soon to be completed transformation.
I had contemplated going abroad for implants as the cost was less, I can emphatically state that having a local professional expert clinic was been the best option for me. I am so pleased I chose Skin and Smiles for my work; it’s been worth the investment. They are dedicated professionals and worthy of my utmost praise and recommendation.

Been there few times before pandemic for lips and Nasolabial fillers. Was good and had the results I was looking for, BUT went back last month February and booked for 1ml filler for my lips, so he applied on my lips, then I asked if I could have more and he said yes, I could have 1ml more on my lips only, this time I didn’t want to do Nasolabial as I had done in somewhere else in January. After have 2ml on my lips I was happy then after few days my big lips just disappeared. I contacted them and the receptionist asked me to send pictures by email, so I did, then had an email saying he haven’t applied 2ml on my lips, he completely forgot after 1 week which treatment I had, he also sent me the picture he took after my fillers and stated that 1ml was Nasolabial and 1ml on my lips, then I sent few emails trying to remember him that wasn’t what I had on that day and on the pictures was clear my Nasolabial wasn’t injected as not signs of skin pierce. After that email I explained he injected 2ml on my lips and he haven’t admitted that even so with photos to proof plus the payment. I asked for refund as my fillers disappeared with 1 week and no reply, I called the clinic twice again to see what they could do but again nothing. They just took my money for 2ml fillers for lips. It’s very upset you pay for something like that quite expensive and ended up loosing money, and time.

Caused nerve damage. Would NOT recommend!

Great dentist! My wife is terrified having a checkup and Dr Murghai made us all feel very relaxed and comfortable. Always uses the latest technology, will definitly be booking more treatment!!!

He is professional, polite, honest and is amazing putting you at your ease in the dentist chair, a refreshing change from previous experiences with dentists.
I first went to Gulshan in late 2018 thinking I had no chance in keeping my teeth due to lack of many years of guidance, bad dentistry and 3 courses of chemo treaptment. But this marvellous dedicated man and his team have changed all of this for me resulting at the end of my treatment Ia smile that I can be proud of! I had veneers put in, back in March. Gulshan made the experience a very easy one as such change can be quite daunting. He was very honest and professional regarding what I wanted to do with my teeth, giving me several ideas and choices of how I can close my gaps. I chose veneers and He managed to do everything in 3 weeks for me before I went on holiday for my birthday. Gulshan is such a comedian as well as great dentist. Couldn’t be more thankful. Plus Marissa gave my teeth a clean which for the first time in years I could feel my bottom teeth! Wow! 🤣. Thank you so much guys, so so happy. It’s nice to smile and not pout. Jodie O’Flynn

Have just had the final part of my implant surgery today and am now the proud owner of my new teeth. The process began in April and Gulshan explained in detail what such surgery would entail. I had the screws inserted and it was a totally pain free procedure. Stitches were removed 14 days later and everything had healed perfectly. X-rays taken 3 months later showed everything as it should be and my new teeth were made by an excellent technician. Gulshan is extremely professional at all times. He puts you at ease and explains everything in great detail. His clinic has the highest standard of hygiene that I have ever encountered in a dental surgery. I would never use another dentist. If I could give this gentleman a million stars I would have the greatest pleasure in doing so. I cannot recommend Gulshan highly enough. Thank you again Gulshan and team.

I had 2 fillings at this surgery. Everything was clearly explained and I didn't even feel the injection,very friendly team and almost a pleasure to visit a dentist.

I had very bad past experiences and that made me very anxious about dentists. I knew I needed to sort my teeth out but I could not trust another dentist. I eventually found this clinic by reading reviews on this site and this dentist sounded perfect. But still doubtful I thought I would give it one final try. I am so happy I did because the reviews do not exaggerate, this clinic is the best practice I have experienced. The whole team are very professional, friendly and they care! I had my 4 year old daughter with me today and Dr Murgai was so nice and gave her a check up (which she enjoyed). I know children are free on the NHS but trust me when I say I would rather pay and have her under the care of this clinic as I was very impressed at the level of care the dentist and staff demonstated and what was nice was the care was genuine. I quickly signed her up on the dental plan which has excellent benefits and I feel proud I am giving her the best care from the start. Thanks guys

From the start of my treatment, I felt looked after. All appointments were made easily and to suit me. All costs were explained before any work was carried out. Having had extensive implant work done, I would thoroughly recommend Whippendell. Great service and nice people.

Having had my mouth abused by third rate dentists for most of my long life, and having had radiotherapy which permanently damaged my teeth, I was frantic. I came to this clinic having toured most of London's private implant dentists, looking for quality implants as well as a dentist who wasn't always critical of the way I looked after my mouth. Few seemed at all bothered.

My implants now feel as if they have always been in my mouth and my results, after only a few months can only be described as spectacular. Dr Murgai was always happy to see me to to improve fit and comfort by carrying out the smallest adjustments. My teeth are now simple to maintain, look wonderful yet natural and I can eat anything without worries,
