I´ve been asking for some special attention since i´ve purchase One year worth of your player.
I´ve tried to ask for one or two month deals so i did not have to end in the situation im right now.
I have a need to deliver a player almoust exactly looking like yours to the top bar o my costumer website, i´ve manage to develop one my self( not very different from yours) just one difference. I wasnt able to show current song/artist.
Since the day of the purchase i´ve been asking for some chat options, skype or anything that could help me achieve my objective wich is just one step away from being achieved.
Result : Email responses with suggestions like SEARCH IN THE INTERNET( google it!) no personal attention just emails telling me to in my own words ''suck it up´´ and a one year long useless service.

Amazing Service and the auto DJ (Cloud DJ) is as easy as circling a date on calendar. Very smooth and easy to set up. it took me 15 seconds to start uploading my mp3 and my station was up and running in 30 sec. The best streaming company i have seen so far. NO complains. Very professional and worth every penny and more....

Look. I've beenin radio a looong time. Did mornings in Atlanta, Charlotte, Tampa, and other great cities. Now programming an AC Station Magic 94.9 in Tampa. My internet radio statio is a very different, and very exciting monster. This training is focused on building audience on line and with my APPs. Perfect. Thanks guys !

Try Wavestreamer/Igniso Radio stream Server. It is Reasonable priced, with real good uptime, & comes with a lot of usable extras, like Radio Players, stream ripper protection & good advertising on all the major Social Sites + SHOUTcast directory listing. The only server I've tried, out of many others, that only got me listeners. Easy to find FREE servers, but aren't any good if you don't get any listeners on them. In other words, with the FREE ones you get what you paid for, NOTHING. Every time I've had an issue, Wavestreaming has responded quickly and with detailed information as to how to solve the problem at hand.

I am an author, artist, radio host....many things, but I am a dinosaur when it comes to all things technical. But I was also determined to create my own broadcast network, Creating Calm Network (and move away from BlogTalkRadio which no longer served our needs), and I began researching - and even trying other companies. What made me select Wavestreaming initially was the how-to videos that made it seem doable to techno dinosaurs.
For most of today's people these tutorials would be enough. But for me, I needed more - so I sent a ticket to the tech support and got Jamie Ashbrook. There were initial moments when I wanted to give up, but Jamie persisted, understood where I was going wrong and guided me to Up and Broadcasting! Wow! I am in awe and so grateful for Wavestreaming - the support given - and the fact that I accomplished this. A big thank you to the folks at Wavestreaming. I would highly recommend them - except do I want more competition on the airwaves?! smile

Ya know as a US based builder of internet stations, the crew at Wavestreaming has always provided us with very fast reaction time with their reliable knowledge and trusting advice. That's 3 reasons why we'll be sticking around.

I love wavestreaming.com as the server for my internet broadcast mewsbuzz ind. radio. my sound quality is stellar and drop outs aren't an issue. when there is a problem (and it's rare) they keep you up to date on whats what.
Recently i made a banking error and was unable to pay for this service until it was resolved. The good ppl at wavestreaming.com bumped my invoice forward to meet my needs with kind patience.

Now that we've used Wavestreaming for a few consecutive months now, I thought I would offer my quick review on Wavestreaming as well as a few suggested upgrades that would take the service over the top.

Overall, Wavestreaming is very easy to set up and reliable. The customer service is definitely more responsive than than the monthly cost would warrant - whenever I've had to submit a ticket, an answer has always been waiting within an hour or two.

That said, there are a few shortfalls that I feel are keeping Wavestreaming from reaching it's true potential for 'semi-pro' broadcasting:

1. Statistics - beyond the real-time stats on the dashboard, the listener stats on the Wavepanel seem to be extremely unreliable (always showing lower aggregate listenership than our real-time stats indicate). Also, the stats aren't very comprehensive, which would keep me from attempting to grow a revenue-generating business from it.

2. Cloud DJ tags / rules - having worked with real automation software, the cloud DJ is almost too simple in its operation - especially when it comes to setting up automated playlists. For example, to create a better sounding broadcast, I'd need the ability to ensure some degree of artist separation (so we don't play 3 AC/DC songs in a row or even in the same day...) as well as tempo rules perhaps.

Even better would be the ability to tie two soundclips together (ie. when the playlist schedules an AC/DC song, it automatically ads the correct AC/DC intro audio - which would be a separate file).

3. Better logging / reporting - Current logging only keeps the last 24 hours, meaning that I'm constantly grabbing a copy / paste of the log for my files. I'd love to be able to auto-export or atleast export multiple days worth of logs.

Similarly, in order to generate revenue from the stream, at the most simplistic level, it would be necessary to have listenership numbers logged next to audio elements so that I can tell CLIENT ABC that 267 listeners heard their ad this week.

4. Simple audio processing - at minimum, Cloud DJ should have some sort of compressor options so that audio volume isn't all over the place from file to file.

I hope these don't come across as sharp criticisms. I love the tool and it is great for how we use it but in order to really consider using it for semi-professional broadcast, there would need to be some basic improvements on these fronts to help us craft better programming (without having to manually schedule it all).

Hopefully a couple of these ideas may find their way into their product roadmap in the future. Until then - stream on!
