Wax and Beans is Bury’s only independent record store, situated in a stunning Grade II listed building. Alongside our stock of new and used vinyl, we have seating over two floors, and serve hot and cold beverages, and selection of food, snacks and fresh cakes. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the space that we have created, whether it be digging for vinyl records, enjoying a coffee, meeting with friends, finishing of your schoolwork or just enjoying the music and atmosphere. Our website also includes all of the new vinyl that we currently have in stock at the shop – orders can be placed here by using the search function at the top left corner of the home page or via the Products page. If you have a request for a specific item we don't stock, contact us as we can order any new vinyl that is still available, as we have accounts with all of the UK distributors.

Fantastic little coffee shop!
We popped in yesterday for a brew and bite to eat. As there was 5 of us we found seating upstairs, the staff were really attentive and took the time not only to take our orders but have a quick chat too. We ordered scone, bacon butty and nachos, the chef was told the nachos where to share, and separated the chilli from the top and gave us 3 extra bowls to make it easier, which I thought was really thoughtful. The food was all homemade and simply delicious!!!! Coffee was good too! The background music was good and was not too loud so that you can still have a good natter.
After eating we went downstairs and, again the member of staff took the time to help me find a record I’d been looking for… thank you for a great experience, absolute gem in Bury, well worth a visit

Went on a very busy day while comicon was on in Bury. There was a large ish group of us so they found us seating upstairs. The staff and owner where excellent and really attentive considering how busy it was. We even met their shop dog Luna. They told us there might be a more than normal wait for food due to how busy it was, but that was fine and the food was well worth waiting for - Amazing quality and amazing value. The coffee is without doubt the best I've had in Bury and I even came away with an amazing hip hop record that I've been after for a while. Would highly recommend. Thank you Wax and Beans

I have been using this Cafe Bar since it first opened opposite the Bus Station. Went in today and ordered two cooked breakfasts. We had to wait which did not bother us as nice to see it busy.Sadly the breakfast was below expectation. The hash browns were undercooked, not crispy and were stringy. The bacon wasn't cooked properly, white residue all over the bacon. Sausages OK, eggs OK, Tom's not cooked properly. Mushrooms luke warm. We ordered toast which was plonked on top of my beans so was soggy .... overhaul, very disappointed as the food is always very good. A little bit of care and attention to detail wouldn't go amiss. Sorry 😞

We take great pride in the quality of our produce (sourcing locally from butchers, greengrocers and farms) and our chefs take great care in our presentation. Our delivery team also routinely check food produced by the kitchen before delivering to our customers. I’m sorry we appear to have let you down in both departments on this occasion. I can assure you this is definitely not how we like to run our business, which I’m sure you can attest to, having been a regular customer since our early days. In future, please do reach out to our team to let them know of any downfalls so they’re able to make it right at the time and ensure you leave having had a 5* experience.
Great shop
Easy to order from, great service and alovely little note in the packaging. All around fantastic.
