I'm hugely grateful to Sifu Ludwig and the South Norwood tech team for their openness, humour and deep expertise during my WIng Chun journey so far. The year 2025 was one of significant illness for me. Starting Wing Chun in November 2025, I have appreciated the discipline and philosophy of this martial art as I have recovered and returned to full fitness. As a beginner, I find the club to be very welcoming. Sifu and the instructors are very knowledgeable, personable, and patient, taking the time to work with you - which is great when starting out!

I've been in going to WCUK for over 7 years and I have loved every single minute of it. My journey has been and still is very empowering. Sifu Jason conducts his classes with right balance/ blend of syllabus training, theory and drills. Plus throws in some 'Off the Cuff' applications which all the Students, at every level,appreciate.
WCUK is a very professional and welcoming. Totally recommended for all levels of student.

I've been to various martial arts clubs over the years and most of them were pretty good, but this is by far the best.
The atmosphere is very friendly and supportive, and you'll often find yourself learning from other students as well as the teachers.
The syllabus and training are of a very high standard. Sifu Jason is a genuine martial arts expert, with a wide knowledge base and excellent communication skills.
I feel very lucky to have happened on this club, which I found purely by chance. I've been going there three years now and it's still something I look forward to twice a week, every week!

Both myself and teenage son attend the Croydon branch and throughly enjoy it. A great teacher to student ratio, everyone is friendly and the instruction and system to progression is clear. Training is varied and very effective. Just waiting for my youngest to get a little older and she’ll be joining too

I’ve been training at South Norwood Wing Chun School under Sifu J and his team of brilliant instructors for a year and a half now, and it was a great decision to join the class.

The syllabus is well-structured and builds solid foundations—not just for your Wing Chun, but also for real-life self-defence and awareness.
