Can't recommend enough. I was scammed in November last year and was kind of a shammed as I am careful with money especially these days so unsure why it came to it. I have lost quite a lot of money and never thought I will see penny back. I have heard advert in the radio and thought to give it a go, there was nothing more I could lose. I lost half our life savings in a scam that took place over one year. The scammer became like a friend and I was devastated when I found out about the loss and the deception.
In trying to recover the money it quickly became clear that every helper was just another scammer. After almost almost 3 years I decided to write off the loss and just get on with my life.
A family member gave me an advert by Wealth Recovery Solicitors, which I ignored initially. After a while I was encouraged again to contact WRS.
I spoke with a kind solicitor who heard my case and asked me to provide all relevant information (4 Sept 2024). He assured me that we have a case and that it would take a few months before we would be notified whether the claim is successful.
During that time there were a few questions that had to be answered, which the agent handled swiftly, giving me feedback and putting me at ease about the case.
I was pleasantly surprised when he contacted me with an offer from the Ombudsman, which I accepted. I got my money on 4/4/2025 which was within the time he said it would take to finalise the outcome of my claim.

They were pleasant and competant and best of all got me a great result on recovering the money that got scammed from me. It does take time - I suspect all legal processed do and constantly asking fpor updates just takes time away from working on your case - but, in the end they came through.
Not, it must be said, cheaply, but what legal proces is? The important thing is they communicated when needed, had a more personal touch that one might expect and got a great result for me.
