After been in the same job role for 12 years, I decided to apply for another position elsewhere which I was rather nervous about.
Sophie at Marmion was amazing from start to finish. We spoke to see what it was I wanted out of the role I had applied for, and if it would be suitable for me. Whatever time I called or messaged she replied to me right away. She really does go above and beyond. She helped with interview questions and reassured me when I was having doubts about anything. Since day one Luke parker has been very supportive. After I applied for my job role he got in touch with me instantly. He took his time to get to know me as a person and we discussed about my work experience and ambitions. He explained what the company is looking for and what I will be doing in daily bases if I am successful. After our phone conversation we both knew that I will be a good fit for the role so he helped me to prepare for my face to face interview. He kept me updated every step of the way and made sure I got everything I needed. One week later I passed my interview and got the job. Honestly I have never got this much support from any other recruitment companies. They are always available to talk to and provide all the support you need to be successful in your job search.

I had been looking for a change of career for over a year. Every recruiter I spoke to didn’t seem bothered about listening to my ‘goals and dreams’, rather they went straight to the questions of ‘notice period, salary expectations, etc. this made the conversations very transactional and neither parties were interested in what either had to say.

When I applied for my current role, Matt Pallister called me and was a breath of fresh air. He knew that this was a completely new sector for me but never spoke to me like a child. He had done his research and knew the sales experience I had and tailored the conversation accordingly. Through the process he was always reachable, even when off sick!

We recently engaged Marmion Recruitment to provide some assistance and input during the recruitment process for a senior executive appointment. The recruiting panel were keen to gain an insight into the shortlisted candidates’ behavioural aspects, personal strengths and preferred work environments. Janet and her team responded quickly at relatively short notice and, utilising their i3 tool, were able to provide the recruiting panel with a comprehensive, detailed insight for each of the shortlisted candidates focusing on key aspects such as leadership styles, strategic thinking and communication style. The resulting individual i3 profile reports which were developed for each candidate enabled the interview panel to explore this profile information during interview, facilitating an in-depth, richer discussions of individual styles and preferences with each candidate. This approach led to a higher degree of confidence in the final recruitment decision.

Janet and her team were extremely responsive and also provided us with a detailed introduction to the i3 tool and its associated applications. They adopt a highly professional approach, which is especially important when liaising with external candidates, thus ensuring a positive recruitment experience. I would thoroughly recommend Janet and her team and commend the service they provide.

Marmion really stood out amongst the quite overwhelming and generic sea of recruiters! From the day I sent off my application, Alice reached out and instantly we established a friendly and professional rapport. No other recruiter took the time to get to know ME as an individual prior to setting up interviews. Meeting Alice and Janet gave me a much needed confidence boost prior to the interview which really made all the difference. At every stage, Alice was honest, up front and reassuring. Marmion were very helpful and supportive from the offset. A few days after I applied for a role I was rung by a recruiter called Matthew. Matthew was very pleasant on the phone and on our interview we had together, before he referred me to the next stage of the process with the company that was hiring.
