I recently purchased the ePub version of "Anguish" by JJ Ellis from Weatherill Essentials, and overall, it was a really positive experience. Finding the book on their site was straightforward, and the checkout process was quick and easy. I received the download link almost immediately, which I appreciated since I was eager to start reading. The file quality was great—perfectly formatted with no glitches on my e-reader, which definitely isn't always the case with every digital retailer.
As for the book itself, I absolutely loved it, though I should warn other readers that it is a very heavy, emotional story. It deals with some really tough topics like depression, anxiety, and bullying. It’s undeniably sad and heart-wrenching at times, but the way the author handles the relationship between Ben and JC is beautiful. It felt very real and raw.
I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because I would have liked a bit more clear communication on the site regarding the heavy themes of the book before purchasing, just so readers are fully prepared for the emotional toll. That said, the customer service was efficient, and the product itself was top-notch. I’d definitely shop with Weatherill Essentials again for my next read.
