It seems like some of their employees monitor user activity and remove content. Today, they removed the entire website builder we had created on our domain. We're just glad we didn't link our valuable domain to their service — imagine what could have happened! Zero stars for security and trust.

What an shambles. I have had the site which is a memorial site for 15 years so you can imagine my distress and upset caused by not being able to log in to update.
There are
No message boards
No memory boards
No visitor counter
Cannot do anything and they have had the cheek to take out another year's payment.
I cannot contact them all emails bounce back.
So I will do my utmost to let people know not to use this site

Websitebuilder.com has got no Customer Service at all! On their Website there is a contact us form, when you fill this in, they will send you a 'we will respond within 24 to 48 hours' automatic response. I had issued tickets in January, March, May and July 2018, and up to now, not a single one has been responded to, and I am actually a client of theirs. But not for much longer, believe me, I do NOT need that kind of customer care. If you are a potential customer of theirs, please stay away, they do not respond to their customers!

THE CUSTOMER SERVICES ARE AWFUL, TECHNICAL SUPPORT HAVEN'T GOT A CLUE.
TEMPLATES ARE USELESS IF YOU WISH TO BE FOUND ON THE SEARCH ENGINES.
I WAS ALSO CHARGED A HIGHER MONTHLY FEE THAN ADVERTISED.

Shambles of a company. Have no respect for anyone. Fail in their obligations, and have a poor customer service set up.

I warn all thinking of using them avoid them, as they will never look to help you or resolve your issue. They never responded to my emails, which you have to send through their automated service. The chat system is rubbish as they never seem to help.

Do not use!! Warning- I was on a FREE package and all had been virtually free for 2 years. NOW they have charged me £215 WITHOUT NOTIFICATION!

For a beginner like me, this is a very useful tool. Lots of flexible templates, so you can really build your own website according to your needs and likes, even if you are totally new to that. Also, their customer service is amazing. I had a couple of issues both with the billing and some technical things. They got back to me immediately -their automatic reply says that they may take up to 48 hours, but they always got back in less that half an hour. They fixed the billing and helped me with the technical issues. Great job. My only suggestion is, if you have a billing problem, don't call the, write an email. It is way easier and faster.

The other reviews i have read must have been posted by employees of the company. They are rip off merchants, they told me my site would cost £10 per month but then charged me £20. They even cancelled my account after they'd received the money and their billing and support is shocking. Avoid this company at all costs. they also use the company name of sitebuilder.com

I know from personal experience just difficult it is to get started with web design. If you are going it alone it's a daunting task to say the least. However, with a website like websitebuilder.com it's a breeze! Any problems you run into are just a few clicks away from being solved thanks to this sites awesome user interface. When I first started if I had known about this site it would of saved me days just trying to understand simple coding but with this site I could of gotten past any coding hiccups within just a few minutes. This site is a game changer, I just wish I had of known about it sooner.

I've been using it for 2 years. I created about ten different websites and all of them perform pretty well. While I don't have full control over my websites like I would prefer, I still can do a quite a bit. Being able to add a custom domain name was a cool feature that I eventually used. I surely couldn't have a unique product if I didn't have a domain name that was appropriate for the situation. I thought the SEO setup was pretty good and was impressed by how much traffic I got for merely blogging. I added the shop feature which was cool and easy to use. I started selling a decent amount of product, and if I am to use another service, I will use a similar mechanism. Overall, I was quite impressed with the service since I started using it. I would totally recommend it to my friends because of the ease of use.
