Feels like a scam
From the very beginning, what I discussed with Website Day — what I clearly needed for my website — is not what I received.
I paid a significant amount of money for a website that, firstly, has a very basic design, and secondly, required me to input all of my own content and do much of the work myself. Essential features I asked for from the outset — particularly a booking calendar that allows customers to book specific time slots — were not delivered. I flagged this repeatedly during the process, and yet it was never properly addressed or explained to me.
Despite raising concerns throughout, the issues remained unresolved. I now have a website that does not function the way it needs to, and I still don’t have clarity on what I’ve actually paid for. I already owned my own domain and email addresses, yet I’m left with a product that is incomplete and not fit for purpose.
They have refused to refund me, despite clearly not delivering the service promised.
Please, do your homework. There are well-known website providers who offer full, functional websites — including booking systems — at half the cost. Website Day gave the impression they could meet my needs but ultimately failed to do so. I would not recommend them. The business opening was delayed due to them.
