very unhappy & horrible customer service

Received my wig in the mail & yes it was good quality but I paid and extra 30€ to be shipped to me within two days and it took almost five... plus the color was completely off compared to the online photo. I wasn’t pleased so i decided to return. I looked everywhere on Google and could not find a customer service number. Finally found Websterwigs email. It’s been over two months with no reply. I have sent numerous emails but have yet to receive anything back about returning my order for a refund. I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied. Will never be purchasing again.

Terrible quality and no customer service

Brought a wig from these guys at the beginning of lockdown and it was decent quality for £65. Therefore brought another. £70 later a terrible quality, knotted wig arrives, unable to style and sheds like crazy, near half the destiny now!

Contacted them, only via email as they do not have a phone number... one response later, very brief. Ask for my money back as it is a terrible wig and no response in 2 weeks.

Terrible, do not purchase from these guys.

In my experience with company....

In my experience with this company I could say Iv been so happy with my wig! It’s amazing quality compared to other wigs with its price tag. I’m sorry some people have had bad reviews but if you look at their Instagram and see how many customers tag them and love them And search their YouTube reviews I’m sure you will see how gorgeous they wigs actually are!

Awesome service & hair

Ordered my first wig from here and i am so happy. The wig is beautiful and great service. The delivery was slightly delayed due to Covid 19 (only by 1 day) but I was worried and emailed Webster wigs and they were very helpful. Will definitely be ordering again.

The worst! AVOID! BEWARE!

I had bought wigs in the double figures. Spent hundreds of pounds. However, when one wig had several loose/broken rows of hair (the hair had come loose and the sharp edge of the wefts we're sticking out) the "Customer Service" told me to simply cit them off. These wigs are £65 and up! I told them I didn:t want to cut the wig and that I wanted to send the wig in to them for them to see what I was talking about. After much backing and forthing they said they didn't want the wig, were not giving me any form of compensation (I suggested some money back or store credit for me to buy another wig as a full refund was unnecessary as I could alter the wig and make it work). They refused everything and basically started to ignore me. Their customer service email address is just a Gmail address, so I assumed they blocked me, and their business address is just a house/flat in England. They are not a specialist business as I believe they just ship wigs in from China. They don't style and create their own wigs. At the time of writing this they haven't even claimed their own website. Reviews are removed from the Shopify site (it's not a website they've created and own). They don't accept returns after 2 days of the parcel arriving. The standard 14 days most other UK based wig companies have does not apply here. So if you don't immediately open and try your wig on but the defect is not apparent straight away...you're screwed. I tried to get a response on Instagram and they blocked my profile. So now I can't see their page unless I go through my husband's account. They are awful! They will happily take your hard earned cash and then their involvement stops unless you want to praise them on i.e. Instagram. I don't know how minor drag queens and so many people have been taken in by this sham of a wig company who's actually just a person with a contact in China distributing wigs for them. If you like good, professional customer service and a good complaints/refund policy do not buy from these people!

UPDATE!

I recently was on Instagram and saw another wig company, of which there are many including shops on Amazon, with a picture of a wig on a grey headed model identical to Webster Wigs. Commented on the post asking who their wig supplier was as they seemed to be a seller based in China. Several people who must be following this companies page jumped on the defensive and started tagging Webster Wigs stating that this company have stolen the image. Due to these people not being blocked by Webster Wigs tagging me, and because someone with a surname that matches Webster Wigs had also caught wind of the comments and they had never blocked me, Webster Wigs unblocked me and proceeded to have a massive rant at me while mentioning details of the transaction mentioned above and I formation about our correspondence. The best part was, they claimed Shopify had made the decision that they were not at fault and well within their right to deny me any form of apology or compensation. BLATANT LIE! Shopify did not decide to have a shocking returns policy that they can easily get out of! I stated that I have gone through a lot lately, which included losing my sight in one eye, and I don't want an argument. I didn't bring their name up here and I'd much rather they block me again if all they're gonna do is drag my name through the mud. So they blocked me. Empathy during a pandemic to a legally blind woman? Not here. Apology for their behaviour? Not at all. Shame on you!

If you style your wigs, make your wigs, take pictures of your wigs, ALL YOURSELF, then show us! Stop paying/bribing minor drag queens to wear your wigs and showing girls with their assets out with your wigs on and show yourself and the process of going from conception to the end product! I dare you!

UPDATE 2!

TrustPilot won't allow me to list the first name of the owner/a worker of Webster Wigs. Even though this person has a public Instagram account and verbally attacked me with it.

I have tried so hard to get in contact for 2 weeks to return my wig but have heard nothing back. I have emailed multiple times, contacted on Facebook and Instagram but nothing 😞

Con artist Webster Wigs !!!

Do not use this unscrupulous no morals company!!!!! They sell bad faulty goods!

I ordered 5 wigs online from the UK in order to see which one suited me best. I was shocked at the poor quality and badly constructed wig caps!! They looked like joke shop wigs!!! They are poorly constructed!!! The issue started after I made a complaint to Josh via email and he refused to offer me a refund within 24 hours of receiving the poor quality wigs. He refused to accept responsibility and did not offer a return address. In essence my hands where tied. Webster Wigs provide no return address in order that you are forced to keep their faulty poorly made tacky joke shop wigs. Buyer Beware!!!

I am in the process of taking them to court as this in breach of our Consumer rights and distance selling laws here in the UK.
Under the law ''The individual terms in your contract should not create an advantage for the seller and a detriment to the consumer. If they do, they can be considered unfair under Part 2 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. '' Josh has breached these rights so has broken the law.

Buyer beware this company is not customer focused or above board. They will cheat you out of your hard earned cash without a care for your legal rights!

Amazing wigs

Honest review. Buying from a different country you never know what you are purchasing and have to trust the reviews found online
I ordered from this company and my order was shipped within 3 hours. I made a mistake on my shipping address and contacted them but the ordered had already been shipped. The customer service I received was outstanding. Josh emailed me back and then emailed my countries postal system in the hope that they could add the missing part of my address. He tried twice for me and managed to persuade them to add my apt number. I am so grateful for that. Today I received my two wigs and I can honestly say they are the best quality wigs I have owned they are so natural looking and the colours are amazing. You receive a pack of two wig caps and a care guide included. They are packed beautifully too. I have just placed another order and will not buy anywhere else now

Buyer BEWARE!!

Buyer BEWARE!!! I received a my wig and it had been damaged, the tracks were unraveled and hair was coming out of the wig, I emailed them and they requested photos stating basically it would be impossible since they thoroughly inspect the wig prior to sending out, I emailed them over a week ago with extensive photos of the damage requesting a refund, I have not received any response from them at all, but they were quick to ask for the photos of the damage , DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU WANT TO LOOSE YOUR MONEY!!!
