Worse than even the Pony Express
In reference, it took more tan twice as long for my parcel to travel from Olive Branch Mississippi to Hebron Kentucky via DHLGlobal, as it took the USPS, from Hebron Kentucky to Sioux Falls SD. About the same distance for both. Germany builds some great cars like Mercedes and BMW, but their shipper cannot go 900 miles in less than a week, while the USPS can travel the same distance in 3 days. I would then rate DHL as the worst shipper in this country, far below even the Pony Express.
Unreliable
I ordered meat with a two-day delivery option. The shipment was cancelled by DHL without any explanation. I later received a new notification stating that delivery would be attempted the following Monday. Given the nature of the product, this delay raised serious concerns about its condition after several days in transit.
I was unable to reach customer service for clarification. Based on this experience, I would avoid using DHL for time-sensitive or perishable deliveries.

I have been waiting for my package since January 6, it has not moved from the starting place in Kentucky since January 9, 2025. I have written to them twice and still have not received a response. I would never use this company to send anything. Not sure when I will receive my package.
I ordered one single CD
I ordered one single CD, and it has taken weeks, and I still don't have it. It "arrived" at the sorting facility in Salt Lake City 2 1/2 weeks ago, and still hasn't arrived...I live two hours away. I could have walked to SLC, grabbed it, and walked back home by now. The Pony Express was faster than this.

Do Not use this shipping service, and do not order from any company that uses this service. I ordered from a shop on Etsy, after waiting for almost 2 months to receive my package, I finally got in touch with the shop owner. She refunded my money even though it was Not her fault. I never received the ordered item. It was some how lost in shipping.

US to UK Shipping
I used Global Mail Direct to ship an item from the US to UK and received within a week. Fantastic service and tracking was all clear. No issues at all.
Horrible company
Horrible company. They picked up a package 500mi away from me on Jan. 24th, after that all tracking ceased. I called the company and went through all the automated drama and in the end I was disconnected.

Do not use Globalmail . Was approached by my very nice DHL representative who has been very helpful emerging my DHL account , and having used DHL for years I didn’t even have second thoughts about using the recommended Global mail . However 5-8 parcels out of 8 have now been lost. No one is willing to investigate or help. All I get back from Globalmail/DHL is that it was sent none tracked . I can understand if one parcel is lost , not 70-100% of all the parcels that were sent.
I wishes I had read the reviews before using the service.

I have packages delivered to my home regularly by everyone else. DHL claimed it was an incorrect address and returned my purchase to the supplier.
I verified that the shipping address was correct and they are sending me my purchase via another carrier so I will get it.

My package that I paid 2 DAY shipping for, sat somewhere for a week before finally getting shipped out today. It’s still in the same city but “making its way to Usps”. Ridiculous, and now I have to wait another week till it arrives, for something I paid A LOT extra to receive in 2 days.

They lost 2 packets shipped from India in transit to Spain via Amsterdam...The most dreadful Customer Service that one can imagine! Basically, when you track your package and you inquire about the delayed delivery (this is for delayed delivery), you basically get one of two responses: a) if your order still isn't ten days delayed, then you're asked to give them a couple of days more, b) if it's more than ten days, then you're asked to contact the shop.
Basically they're telling you to be patient enough to the point, where they don't have to deal with it anymore. They just don't care. This is such a disappointing experience.

I ordered one item from the US. Usually, it's really fast and I get packages in a maximum of 2 weeks. This time however because of DHL was different. It's been a month! From the 11th to the 15th of December, my order arrived in some warehouse in the US. Until the 22nd of January, it didn't move even an inch. Excluding the holiday season, it's a whole month. Today, I checked again their tracking website and there was information that my parcel was delivered, today. Wonder where, no email, no SMS, no phone call, nothing. I hope some moron (pardon my words) put it in my mailbox.
If I could I would give half of the star, but his company doesn't even care about customers, so what's the point.
