My car was in great shape even though…
My car was in great shape even though it was a 2017 had all new tires brand new two weeks out, front end alignment two weeks out all new filters changed new sensor. There was a couple of pinhole dots on the hood. He use that as an excuse to lower the price that they gave me said it would take a lot to touch that up, which is not true at all. The car was very clean the air conditioning was excellent and would run you out. It was so cold. The interior was in really great shape that they found any little thing they could find wrong with the car body to lower the price way lower than what they quoted me lower than the book value of the car because I’m moving to Texas I had to go ahead with it. I should never have done that. I should’ve put it for sale sign on it put it on marketplace and got more money, but I was stupid. The guy was very knowledgeable about cars that he also lied about how much it would cost to touch the paint up for the little pin holes. I’m sure they’re gonna go buy some little dab tube of paint and stick in there and sell it like that. I’m not stupid so I suggest putting it for sale sign on it and selling it on marketplace because they take advantage of people. The car had just came out of the shop at Midas when I took it over there and they scanned it. There was nothing wrong with the car and he even scanned at Midas and he told me there was nothing with the car when I took it to him. He said the scan showed everything was fine but now they’re trying to say the scan showed problems.

Our repair estimates are based on professional, industry-standard body work — not DIY touch-up solutions. We also want to address your comment about feeling you had to go ahead with the sale because of your upcoming move. Our appointments are always conducted in a pressure-free environment, and customers are never obligated to accept our offer. Because your review was posted under the display name "No name None," we have been unable to confirm your identity in our systems. However, our Sarasota team purchased only one 2017 vehicle this week, and the detailed reconditioning notes and photographs for that transaction clearly show the same hood issues you describe — as well as several other issues that were not disclosed during the online valuation, including:
• Front hood oxidation
• Rear bumper holed
• Front bumper scratched
• Rear tailgate/trunk lid scratched
• Driver side front alloy wheel damaged
• Passenger side front exterior moldings damaged
Our OBD-II diagnostic scan also revealed six fault codes spanning the vehicle's body, chassis, and communication systems:
• C0750, C0755, C0760, C0775 — Chassis fault codes related to the electronic stability and traction control systems
• B3205 — Body system fault
• U0401 — Invalid Data Received From ECM/PCM
The presence of multiple chassis fault codes affecting stability and traction control is a safety concern that impacts a vehicle's resale value and must be addressed before we can offer the vehicle for sale. These are not cosmetic issues — they indicate underlying electronic faults that require professional diagnosis and repair.
