DO NOT USE! Took my car and with agreed price same day. Then dropped £2000 and refused to bring car back! RUDE RUDE RUDE zero customer service! Con artist

I got a quote to sell my car though webuycars. However you have to pay a £45 fee for them to view your car!! Also do not expect anywhere near what they quote you. That quote is just to lure you in. Expect minimum 1k to be knocked off. I asked the person to break down the cost for me and how they managed to work that out. The guy could not give me an answer. Dont waste your time with this company. Personally i would only use them if i was really desperate.

Shocking company. Initially gave me a value of 5.5k for my vehicle then sent out ‘dekra’ Who weren’t too bad only to called the next day wiping on £1.5k off the value for general wear and tear. Only one major scratch other than that vehicle was in very very good condition. Would never use or recommend this company to anyone not even my worst enemy. RIPOFF and stole my £35 for the valuation.

I contacted this company dont waist your time and money dont understand how some people gave 4/5 stars my mistake should have checked reviews they over value it to sell it to you and when they send dekra to inspect the car....the guy took over hour looking for scrashes and marks he counted every little mark which you cant see i had only 1 noticeable scrach it was a wet day so i dont understand how he saw these marks apparently there where 18 scraches ....so after he went they called me back they initially offerd 9700 after inspection went down to 7000 they are a con you have to pay for someone to come out and inspect the car this is just a scam for them to make money from you i sold it for 9250 with the car buying group they dont charge you for anyone to come out to inspect and this inspector came when it was a sunny day. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Selling my car was a easy process with We Buy Cars Today. They made it so easy all I had to do was fill in a few details on my car, and gave me a free valuation, then I made a appointment for a Tuesday morning from 8 - 10.30. Dekra came round checked the car over, gave it a test drive, and took some photos of it. Then I received a call the following day confirming a price, which was completely reasonable and beat the price of other places. Then arranged a date for pick up and I got my payment. The refundable £49.99 was also paid back into my account. Would recommend this service to others wanting to sell there car or van with a easy process.

Sold my car to them, it was smooth and quick sale. Happy to recommend them

They ended the interaction by saying they won't buy my car. My car is perfect - with 2 years of warranty left and full service history.

I paid for the inspection - the inspector said the car was in great condition. The valuation team contacted me but got confused because the number plate was changed on the car (so I could retain it). He said he'd call back - he didn't. I called and spoke to a manager -she offered to refund my money but I pointed out that they haven't actually given me a final valuation yet. She told me she'd call back and hasn't called back.

I haven't received the refund for the £80 yet either!!! I've now spoken to a manager and he started making up all sorts of stuff like 'we won't sell to you because you've done multiple quotes and 'screwed the algorithm' (I work in IT so this is laughable!) and 'you rejected the offer we made' (the valuation guy never made an offer - just promised to call me back and never did) and 'you rejected the offer of refund of your fee' (I told the lady to wait and see if she actually wanted to make me an offer to buy my car before she offered the refund and she never called back). The guy said they will refund me though finally, so fingers crossed!

So a) they don't buy cars, b) they definitely don't buy them 'today' coz it takes days to arrange an inspector and then the adjusted valuation and then (if they ever get there) to actually buy the car.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I had An initial valuation of £6755 online for my SAAB. I paid £50 for an inspection. The car was in excellent condition £41000 on the clock. Inspector confirmed nothing wrong with car other than a little wear to Finish in the switches. Car had new brakes. Front and rear plus 2 recent rear tyres. Final offer £5819. Total rip off. Do not use this company.

A driver turned up, did a quick appraisal the valuations team kept me updated throughout the process, they purchased my car I struggled to sell and paid the money straight into my account! Would use again!

Don’t even think of using these CROOKS I paid £49.99 for them to call out to my house and they cancelled it and I never received my refund. So please DON,T think of using these crooks

Make their money from all the non refundable £50 pound inspection fees.

You will never get anywhere near the amount they promise you for your car. Take huge sums of money off for the most basic of little issues.

I got guaranteed quote of £130 but when I phoned they said they don't deal with cars valued that low. The man on the phone said my guaranteed quote will have an asterisk next to it but it clearly did not. So why give me a quote then say they won't buy my car? What a waste of time. He told me about removemycar.co.uk so they must get a kick-back from them. The man on the phone could not explain the point of the quote that they would not honour and was nothing to do with any price offered by removemycar. The only explanation is that they gave me a bull***t quote to get a few quid for passing me on to another company. Poor.

Wasted time and money send a young lad out to inspect (he drove a banger) my car was valued at £2300 I then had to chase them for a offer saying they did not have my number reeled off loads of reasons no second key etc and offered £800 less then their quote. I tried to have a conversation with him but he put the phone down have now sold car for £3000 rip off company charging £49.99 for nothing

BEWARE, look at all of the one star reviews. They all say the same. They give you a high quote online & on the phone, higher than any other company. They send out a person to inspect the car who is as nice as pie & says how good the company are. You are asked for a £50 inspection fee which will be refunded after inspection then you get a phone call after an hr of the inspection to say that the price has gone down substantially cause apparantely there is a lot of damage! ! No damage whatsoever, a few scratches cause by power washing big deal!! The £4500 quote went down to £3000 & I was told I couldn't have my £50 inspection fee back unless I excepted the poor offer I was given. I am now trying to get the money back through my bank's fraud department! !! Awful company, rip off merchants!!!

was quick and smooth. i got what i was expecting. I was explained the process before hand over the phone. so it was easy for me to decide weather i am selling to others or to these guys. Have received the services as was told and got payment instantly

I'm both saddened and angry with myself for ever using this company . My car was sold today for yet again another knock down price !! According to the engineer I needed several pieces of work doing to my immaculate car.
This authority of all things false didn't even start the engine yet claimed on his report that he travelled 2 miles in it, and reached a speed of 50mph.
After renegotiating the price offered to me this morning, I was already aware of my car being advertised with a dealer 150 miles away. So despite the so called extensive work that needed to be carried out on my car before being offered for sale, in the space of a few hours it had travelled 150 miles and was sitting on the forecourt for sale.
Ignore the 4/5 star ratings they are clearly false, like a lot of the spoken and written words on behalf of this company.
I intend to write to a regulatory body concerning this company.

The guy was very polite and made sure I understood the process. I was very impressed. To be honest I expected to be turned over but was pleasantly surprised. The whole process was quick and painless with instant payment. Would certainly recommend to anybody.
