The site is such a great idea!

I'm so grateful I found this site, through Instagram actually and I ended up booking screen printing with Sarah and wood whittling with Tim. I can wait to see what I can do next year. The site was pretty easy to navigate and it's great that reminders are sent to you as the class date gets nearer. Both classes were led by fantastically knowledgeable, kind and friendly people who made the experience really enjoyable. Thank you to them both and lucky they are sharing their gifts with us all, especially for beginners like me

A brilliant afternoon learning how to weave a scarf with my daughter at The Freeweaver Studio. We both came away with a unique hand woven scarf. Such an enjoyable, relaxing and beautiful technique with excellent guidance from Janine. Highly recommended.

Coffee workshop

My husband and I went on the Coffee workshop with Naomi. Through her we were able to learn from bean to cup which was enlightening and enjoyable mainly because Naomi made it so with her personality and patience

Please note that I've given a date for…

Please note that I've given a date for the experience because I can't post a review without it - ie if you don't actually get the experience you can't leave a review. But the problem is that it's proving very difficult tp obtain any dates from the workshop provider - see below.

Bought a gift for my partner and he was slow to use it as he was waiting to see if a friend wanted to go with him. He was unable to choose a date with the guy providing the workshop so had to register to receive an offer of an available date. 3 months later he's still waiting. I've contacted Wecandoo but all they can say is that they're not responsible for allocating dates. I get this, but I don't see why they can't communicate with the provider. They've also suggested changing the workshop but I chose this one specifically because my partner is interested in blacksmithing and there isn't another that I want to replace it with. They're quick to take the money but not really interested in ensuring that you get what you've paid for.

Fantastic day learning screen printing

I had such a great time at Sarah's screen-printing workshop. This was the only one I could find in London which allowed you to use multiple layers and colours which I was really exited about! We spent the whole day trying out the methods, with Sarah's help. Be sure to bring some of your own extra items to print as there is a lot of time and you can get really stuck in. The area was also really nice, we enjoyed a local lunch just around the corner.

Great way to try something new

I did a glass blowing taster workshop, which was a really enjoyable half-day session. The facilitators were really friendly, knowledgeable and supportive in enabling guests to create a paperweight and bauble in a way that always felt safe and never too daunting.

The choice of dates was good and the cancellation policy offered by Wecandoo seemed simple and fair. There were lots of reminders as the date of the workshop got nearer and instructions were clear.

All in all I think this was good value for money to try something new.

Wecandoo...they certainly can!

My partner bought me a glassblowing experience via Wecandoo for Christmas. The booking process was straightforward, the communication from Wecandoo was clear and the amount of information from them is just right - they don't flood my inbox with marketing but keep me in the loop about new workshops and how many loyalty points I have earned. There is a great selection of experiences on the website and the workshop I attended was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended

Great experience with ceramics

Had a great experience learning the basics of the potter's wheel. The artisan was very patient and gave great tips to create a decent creation in a relatively short period of time :-) would recommend!

Great experience!

I did several workshops with Wecandoo and also offered a few (for Christmas) and every time it's a great and different experience! I totally recommend it for a friends activity but also for a unique personal moment outside of the daily routine. They offer so many different craft experiences.

I really enjoyed my ceramics workshop…

I really enjoyed my ceramics workshop with Wecandoo! The artisan was very patient and I was able to make two bowls that I can't wait to pick up in a few weeks. It was a great time and a wonderful meeting with a passionate and highly skilled artisan!
