Great convenience and Flavours!

Super convenient option with high-quality ingredients. The meals are the perfect portion size and there is a lot of variety. This is a great option for a single young professional or student. Delivery is always simple and reliable.

Food is bland, canceling your subscription is a nightmare

The food was usually bland, though occasionally you’d get something that tasted good. The main reason I’m giving this a 1 star review is the cancellation process. I wanted to take an indefinite break from the service since it’s a bit expensive. I had to dig around to even find the cancel button, then it asks why you’re leaving, and at the very end it tells you that you need to contact customer service to actually cancel. The whole process took about 20 minutes. If I had to guess, they’re hoping you give up out of frustration.

I’ve never done any sort of deliver…

I’ve never done any sort of deliver meals to your home type service before. It was the PK Subban ads they were running that initially got me curious. Fast forward to Black Friday, I took a promotion - and my girlfriend and I weren’t disappointed. For food that is just simply being reheated, we were shocked in the quality and how good the meals were. The convenience factor and the top notch packaging make it a no brainer for those who work hard throughout the day and want to recoup some time after work vs having to always cook and do dishes.
If you were hesitating - don’t. This is the real deal!

Orders are consistently late

Orders are consistently late. My most recent order has been out for delivery for over 30 hours, which raises serious concerns about hygiene and safety. Customer service is extremely unfriendly.

I kept trying to pause my account…

I kept trying to pause my account however I kept getting boxes.Trying call the company several times and no operators available. So I received 2 identical orders.Finally texted and was told sorry we can’t refund your last box so I have to give it away. Very poor customer service would not be returning

Terrible customer service, great food

The customer service is terrible, but the food is great and the quality is excellent. I’ve been a customer for about three years now, and I really appreciate the convenience. However, when there’s a mistake with shipping or if they forget something, the responses are always the same. They don’t take ownership of the problem and simply offer a refund. Here are a few examples:

I’ve had many instances where they forgot something in my order. I’ve written to them expressing my annoyance, but I always get a bland response like, “Here’s your refund.” There’s no acknowledgment of the mistake or any solutions other than a refund.

The other day, my entire order was missing. I hoped it would be possible to get a remplacement and receive it by Thursday, as they ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays, it seemed it didn’t cross their mind that this could be done. What’s worse, once again, there was no apology, just a simple, “Here’s your refund.”

I’m frustrated that it could be so easy for them to fix their mistakes. A simple apology and an add-on to my next order would be great. Even cheaper WeCook coins could make this much better.

Good food, terrible delivery

The food is good, the website is super easy to use and informative. My delivery experience, however, was very poor.
Out of 5 deliveries, one arrived 24 hours late without updates or explanation. Another delivery was left at a car shop (!) 200 meters from my home.
When I chatted with customer support, they blamed the delivery company (Obibox). That may be a fair point, but I feel WeCook cannot simply wash their hands like that. They partner up with Obibox, I did not choose Obibox.
So I cancelled my subscription. I will try HelloFresh now.

Angry, argumentative customer service

I had the most horrendous experience while trying to unsubscribe from this terrible service. The agent was rude, abrupt, argumentative because I wouldn't give him a reason for unsubscribing, which I am not legally required to do. Unlike other meal services that allow you to unsubscribe with a click of a button, this one makes it very difficult and insists you call them. And when you do, they are absolutely nasty, making it personal (shocking really). Never again. Their food choices are limited and their meals are mediocre at best.
