I took their vendor plan for leads but…
I took their vendor plan for leads but not even provide me a single good leads which I can convert total waste of money. Don't believe in their promises and words.

Very dishonest company
I wrote an honest review for ShaBars wedding planning and left 1 star. I paid him and he never did anything he promised to do. Weddingwire hid my review and said they would reach out to verify the veracity of my review within 1-3 days. No one reached out. I reached out to them with no response. I do have proof but they don't care about that. They are shielding conmen/scammers for profit.

Don’t waste your time
If you are my business that is not within an hour of one of their chosen demographics, don’t waste your money. Not one single lead turned into a wedding because we were too far away.

Don't fall for this scam
Don't fall for this scam! I pay $444 a month for no real leads! The leads I receive are from African scam artists to contacting me for non existent weddings! Weddingwire locked me in this 1 year contract with talks of all the clientele I would receive for paying $444 a month! All the help thats available for me to be successful! I did better on Instagram and Facebook for free! I average 10- 20 gigs a month. In 10 months of paying $444 a month, I have only had two weddings using weddingwire and the knot!
I am so glad I only have 2 months left in my contact! Shame on you weddingwire & the knot. I should have read the reviews instead of listening to their sales persons. Please learn from my costly mistake and don't fall for their lies! They will not help your business, they open you up to scams. Now when clients contact me I have to have zoom meetings just to make sure they are real couples. I never had this problem before joining weddingwire and the knot. Stay far, far away from these scam artists!

Absolute scam
Absolute scam!
Promised a lot of leads, exposure. They are way overpriced and don't offer what you say it will - so save your money or go without the services entirely by not purchasing anything from them..
I tried cancelation but they ignored me which is really frustrating. After 4 months paying $221 per month for less than 1 wedding booking... WTH!?

The Wedding Wire and The Knot are…
The Wedding Wire and The Knot are scams. They tell you to expect 30-50 leads every month and then when you sign up you get 4 or 5 who are note even interested in you area. Then when you try to cancel they give you a run around with LEGAL CONTRACT language that says that you have to continue he service for a year even though you are not getting anything out of it. When you call the cancel at the end of the anniversay they give you the run around saying you have to talk to a particular person and they will determine if the contract with renew automatically. They are a scam that will bleed you of money.

A scam for wedding invitation vendors
If you want to waste thousands of dollars thinking you will get a kickstart to your business, invest in Wedding Pro. Complete scam and waste of money. None of the leads even looked at my responses or followed up. I used it for stationery wedding invitations. Obviously the customer base is not interested in those services.

Great Wedding Last Night
When planning our daughters wedding and knowing it was such an important day we called John Cadillac Saville Entertainment to be our DJ. We had the wedding last night and he did an absolute incredible job. The music selections were spot on and all of our guests could not have been more pleased. He was very professional and was more than happy to play any requests. Some guests were happy to sit and listen to the music while others were up on the dancefloor all night long. There was a wide selection of music that appealed to everyone. The process from beginning to end was seamless and I strongly encourage anyone looking for a DJ for any type of event to definitely give John Cadillac Saville Entertainment a call. You will be happy you did!
After advertising with them became a scam
After advertising with them became like playing three cards monty. Customer service is none existing. They have no accountability, and they change their policies all the time, changing the way that vendors are shown and making it virtually impossible to book any weddings in the past two years.
I advertised for 7 years and the last two years after they were bought by the knot were horrible after they changed their policies and started playing games with how vendors are shown for a given location. My leads went down drastically and I paid more than ever was shown less than ever and did not book any more weddings.
Buyer beware it is not the same WeddingWire that it was many years ago.

They Delete bad reviews if you pay them to!
First sorry about my English I´m Brazilian. If you are thinking about hiring a company or professional because they have just good reviews or any really bad reviews or the worst they have the amazing wedding awards from the website. You think, must be a really good professional. NO!!!! I COULD SAY THOSE ARE THE WORST! Those are the professionals that pays Weddingwire to delete all negative comments. I was deceived, fooled, cheated by one company who made my wedding. They were so unprofessional that I could not believe how they could have just good reviews. So, after be the first person to write a bad review about them Weddingwire gave the worsts excuses to not allowed my opinion. So searching in the internet I figure out that I was just one of the thousands brides who are being mislead for fake reviews. So please don´t make the same mistake I made. The people who actually needs WeddingWire to promote them as a spotlight or wedding awards are not good or is much more expensive than the same result you can get from another professional. The providers that do not pay the website never receive your contact or cellphone. So, MY BIG TIP FOR YOU. FIND THE PROVIDERS WHO DOESN’T HAVE SPOTLIGHT AND WEDDING AWARD. SEARCH THEIR NAMES ON GOOGLE, FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAN. THESE WERE THE GOOD ONES THAT I HAD IN MY WEDDING AND I COULD NEVER REACH USING WEDDINGWIRE. YOU KNOW WHY!!! BECAUSE THEY ARE SO BUSY AND HAVE SO MANY CLIENTS THAT THEY DON’T NEED TO PAY WEDDINGWIRE.

Don’t trust Wedding Wire or The Knot
Just here to give a warning to everyone to NOT use The Knot or Wedding WIre to find vendors or check their references. I did and ended up with a complete con man for catering (tried to blackmail me 8 days before my wedding). Couldnt for the life of me figure out how he had such great reviews! Anyways I proceeded to leave a review on wedding wire/the knot (same company) and they have completely blocked it. They have sent the most contraindicating statements like ”please provide proof of this accusation” and then when I send screen shots they say “you cannot provide screen shots.” Whaaaaaat??? They refuse to speak to me by phone. I even changed my review to say “This company is awful. I do not recommend” and they won’t even allow that! Please use google and yelp to check out vendor references so that you don’t get scammed!!

Delete honest reviews
Delete honest reviews so people get scammed by horrible dishonest companies. I will attach a picture of the email they sent me to change or delete my review based on a horrible experience I had with Eivans Photography who I hired through their website if I can. I have a picture of their yelp profile as well which shows they broke the first amendment suing people who wrote honest reviews and even had a note in their emails that stated they would pursue legal action against anyone who left negative reviews. I left a review on both the knot and wedding wire which apparently are owned by the same company. Eivans scammed us, and they had only positive reviews on both websites. This is why we chose them initially, and trusted them. I will not go into detail about Eivans-i have left reviews of them elsewhere. They said that I lied in my review about Eivans, which I did not. We were charged extra later before our wedding higher than the original price they show, plus were threatened with additional charges or they would archive and not give us our wedding video we paid for. We had to threaten Eivans with legal action 2 years later to finally get our wedding video!

Wedding Wire - unhelpful and gatekeeping
To the reply left below: Hi! I assume this is Hannah. When I never received a cancellation or refund from the vendor who lied about their photos and ghosted me and my wedding coordinator (after the vendor told me they had E-mailed the wedding coordinator twice when they hadn’t), and showed you proof that I can’t find a public record of their LLC that you claim exists, I respectfully stand by my lived experience with this vendor. As for the part of your reply where you asked me—a bride whose mother-in-law died of cancer during this ordeal—for an unemotional review: If you can’t handle emotions, you’re in the wrong business. There are a lot of ways to deescalate a situation, but telling a bride not to be emotional while denying their lived experience isn’t one of them.
----------------------------------------------------
Very disappointed to see Wedding Wire protecting their dishonest vendors and not taking brides seriously who speak up about their negative experiences. My experience with Wedding Wire was grossly disproportionate in regards to how much more support they clearly show their vendors than their brides. Their customer service department is gate-keepy and unresponsive, even after I supplied all the evidence they asked for. I would not recommend using any platform that openly protects crooked businesses. Zola was awesome.

This was worst investment
This was worst investment I did for my business.
When I spoke with the sales rep. I was very concerned about my Medical Spa wasn't a good fit for the website as it is geared towards services to get you wedding ready. I do not offer makeup or hair services. They assured me in the first 3 months I would generate a positive ROI to pay for the $3300 investment.
It has been 1 year and a few phone calls later with my "coach/rep" which was in my opinion lip service. I kept expressing concern that I never got a return on investment and leads were not quality or even for what I offered...
I followed their recommendations on sending an email and maybe they will booking a treatment at a later date. It never happened.
If you choose to use this company make sure that it is for your services offered specifically in the recommended categories. Otherwise you will be stuck in a 1 year contract that will be a waste of time and resources.

Help weddingpro page
Diana is a wonderful customer service person, she helped me a lot with all the stuff from the weddingpro page, I recommend her totally for everything
Jonathan Harris is the man !
I’d like to start off with saying I’m been with the knot & wedding wire for about a year and I will be starting my second contract soon, I see a lot of bad reviews on which is kinda weird because I’ve been extremely successful with this platform and with the help of Jonathan I feel this year could be even better, I can’t thank him enough for all the help & ideas on how to grow my business, he’s super kind & just keeps it real no super crazy sales pitch
I would recommend this platform & Jonathan if you want to take this platform serious & not just hope magic happens
Cheers guys !
Horrible experience as a Vendor
UPDATE:WEDDING WIRE/THE KNOT REPLIED TO THESE REVIEWS BUT NEVER ACTUALLY RESPONDED OR RESOLVED THIS.
Signed up as a Vendor in 2021.
Lots of leads and ZERO sales.
I was never signed up for the marketing emails which was a huge pitch by their Sales team when signing up. After months of voicing this issue to both my account manager and vendor support, I finally started receiving emails at the end of my contract…
The majority, if not all of their “Leads” did not seem authentic and this definitely needs to be investigated by an outside party.
100% Do not recommend as a Vendor, this is definitely a scam and they take advantage of small businesses trying to get more exposure in the Wedding industry.

If you care about your business..BEWARE
Complete SCAM! If you’re a wedding vendor BEWARE!!!
Got locked into a 1 year contract with no mention of that contract until I was already signed up.
I got zero business! I contacted the support team, used their tips and after 8 months still nothing!!!!
Pro Tip: when they won’t let you cancel, just call your bank and do a charge back and they will cancel you

Censorship of my review, hide bad reviews, worst customer service
They removed my bad review of a terrible wedding hair and makeup artist (Makeup and Hair by Traci- AKA "Graceful Weddings") who basically cancelled on me 2 days before the wedding and sent me 3 amateurs instead, we all ended up a cakey, flakey mess on my wedding day. Anyway they tried censoring my review. That is not my honest review and I refuse to comply. They have been SLOW AS MOLASSES to get back to me, not to mention horrible treatment of customers. "Hannah R" got all snippy when I kept asking for a response and said, "As per my last email you can see due to volume it may take up to 7 days to respond" and there was no such thing in the email, all that I got was that it would take 2-3 business days for me to hear back and I didn't hear anything back until business DAY 6! Then, when she realized that she didn't say that, no apology, just made sure her new email signature had that, and then just got back to me with a heavily edited version of my review that basically softens the blow to the horrible makeup "artist." I also noticed they hide the bad reviews under a different tab- had I seen the bad reviews first, which were actually most recent, I would have NEVER gone with this service. WeddingWire SUCKS. Also totally misleading that they own TheKnot. I wish I never used either. $2835 down the drain, all my other vendors I found were awesome and guess what- I found them OUTSIDE of BOTH.
I will be reporting them to the BBB and to the FTC as this should be illegal.
UPDATE: To reply to the WeddingWire comment below, I already spoke to Austin from your review team and he basically lied and denied that they hide reviews and told me unless I edited my review that it would remain hidden. Out of frustration and just wanting to be done with this, I re-wrote my review and shortened it, so they did put it back up- BUT IT IS STILL HIDDEN BEHIND THE SORTING TAB. They hide their reviews in the "sorting" tab to mislead you, showing only the positive reviews FIRST. IT IS NOT CHRONOLOGICAL. No I will not be reaching back out to your team, only to be lied to and gaslighted then ignored again. Thanks for a completely useless response! I've reported your illegal process to the FTC already, good luck with that. Eventually they will be on you for this once people start to see what a shady and dishonest company you are.

this company scams small businesses
this company scams small businesses. was promised lots of leads and sales but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I feel naive and stupid for ever signing up for this scam. I was told that if I didn't pay for the whole 12 months than they would send it to a debt collector. in the past 3 months I've given them $1,000 and not a single sale through this site, 0.
