My husband's outfits were ruined by the dry cleaners and we're not able to get any compensation at all. Useless insurance.

Wedding insurance is designed to cover a range of unforeseen wedding-related events. However, damage caused by a third-party service provider, such as a dry cleaner, is not covered under the terms of the policy. In these circumstances, responsibility for the damage would usually rest with the service provider concerned, and you may wish to explore a claim through their liability insurance.
We appreciate this may not have been the outcome you were hoping for, but we always aim to be clear and transparent about what is and isn’t covered under the policy.
