The book did not seem to be for the age … seemed a few years older. 400 page book for a 7 year old.

Madeleine's classes are always so well thought out.
The room is always prepared well and is a calming atmosphere - dimly lit with sensory lights. All the interactive and sensory items for the class are set out in advance and there is a theme for each class.
The warm and welcoming atmosphere is lovely to be in and the babies always seem to enjoy it.
It has definitely been one of the best mother and baby classes I've attended.

Great books

Madeline is a great host, it's the most relaxed feeling of all the baby groups we've been to. The classes are well resourced and props matched to music. Very engaging class which baby loves!

Fabulously selected age appropriate books.

I subscribed to this for a younger relative as a Christmas present. She gets the toddler subscription and I can’t recommend it highly enough. She loves books, and to have a brand new one delivered to her every month makes her very happy. The books are alway well chosen and arrive within a week. A perfect gift!

Absolutely delighted with the book choices and service from this wee independent bookshop. We have bought subscriptions for our young grandchildren, aged 6,2 and 1. All books have been excellent choices, age appropriate and hugely enjoyed by all the children. And when one book went missing (returned to sender when away on holidays) it was replaced immediately, even in advance of the returned book’s arrival. Couldn’t recommend highly enough - so important to support independent booksellers.

I’ve cancelled my subscription after one month. Money taken from my account before 1st, books allegedly despatched 4 working days later, which is disgraceful.
When I asked for a refund due to appalling service and daughter waiting for post after I received a shipping confirmation but no books, still nothing arrived.
I can only presume these positive reviews are from people with more money than sense who don’t care if companies have their hard earned money for a week before the items arrive. Absolutely disgusted by their attitude to customers.

Ordered a couple of books online for my niece and nephew. The books arrived in very good time - I was impressed with this because the shop is based in NI and I live on mainland UK. The prices were very reasonable and the choice of books available is great! The books were very well received by the kids - they loved them. Thank you so much, Wee Bookworms! I joined the Wee Books book club for my granddaughter when she was born I year ago. She and her parents absolutely love the books and she gets so excited when a new book arrives. They are beautifully written and very colorful and engaging. Thank you for helping us give her the gift of books at such a young age.

Our first parcel arrived today and it was such a treat. Beautifully packaged and the book choices were absolutely spot on. What a truly lovely, amazing service. 

I miss bookshops terribly and always use independants and you've bought that bookshop magic alive again. I was unsure about a subscription but this is worth every penny and literally a book lovers dream to receive.

I LOVE this little dream of a bookshop. My two girls absolutely adore it too and are often asking when they are getting to Wee Bookworms again! Madeleine is so warm and welcoming and there is never a feeling that you’ve overstayed your welcome- you can sense she takes great pleasure in seeing children taking books out and cosying up on the beanbags to lose themselves in the stories. I made the conscious decision to avoid Amazon this Christmas and I asked Madeleine for recommendations for my girls- she then did up the order form for me, and all I had to do was pick them up! (Postage was offered as an option, but then I wouldn’t have had an excuse to go back in for another browse!) Excellent customer service and a real gem of a bookshop. We got some vouchers for Christmas so can’t wait to get back in!!

Wee Bookworms is a real gem. Having two primary school bookworms at home I was delighted when the bookshop opened in Warrenpoint. Madeleine has a wonderful selection of books for all ages, chosen with care and knowledge. Seems like she's read them all! If you need a present for a curious preschooler or an school age reader, this the place to go. You will always get a lovely book, a little toy and friendly advice. Check up the book subscriptions too.

The book subscription I have got with Wee Bookworms is worth every penny. My 3 year old son loves the books that arrive. I also love the attention to detail as every book is wrapped and has a fun sticker. Will definitely be renewing.
