Personal, knowledgeable advice in a quaint shop

This is a very(!) small, quaint shop, centrally located in Bakewell (albeit slightly hidden under an archway), stacked from floor to ceiling with a wide range of whiskies (plus a few gins and some local beer).

I received great personal advice on buying a whisky based on the style specified, with a few different options within a reasonable price range.

My impression was of enthusiastic and straightforward, knowledgeable advice.

Recommended if you want a good range and expert advice. If you want to browse, then be aware that everything is behind the counter, so you'll need to ask to look in more detail at the products. Given that it's a small shop, if you can visit out of peak times that might be a good idea.
