We always have a lovely experience when we come here. Always great service and wines are superb.

I did the WSET Level 1 course taught by Duncan and it was a really enjoyable day. We learnt a lot, in a really engaging and fun way. It's no surprise he gets such high pass rates.

Great shop, always friendly folk with good advice & always politely mindful of budgets.

The guys at Wee Vinoteca sourced us some lovely Cremant for our wedding. Duncan advised us wisely on how much we’d need (we didn’t have a clue), and got us a delicious perfect drink that all our guests loved.

Wee Vinoteca are a fantastic independent business, with an unparalleled wealth of knowledge presented in a relaxed and approachable manner. It is the kind of place that both the absolute novice and the experienced can buy, drink and learn about wonderful wines.

Lauren and Duncan got me through WSET Level 2 with Distinction and as such have sparked an exciting journey of discovery, thank you!

Friendly, knowledgeable team provide excellent down to earth advice on wines you might like. Their range includes wines you will know, and plenty you won't, so exploring with Duncan and Hannah's advice is fun. Their tailored wine subscriptions were a godsend in lockdown and continue to be a great way to explore lovely wines with no effort! Highly recommended.

Duncan and Lauren were fantastic at hosting the WSET level 2 classes, the classes were thorough, insightful and very informative. I managed to achieve a pass with distinction and am very grateful of the work they put in to help get me to that point.

Wine selections in the shop are also great! Lots of classic wines but also a good mix of interesting new world wines also!

A true gem of a wine bar. A great selection of wine and nibbles, with great staff who really know the wines that they serve.

A lovely small independent wine shop. A lovely place to sit and have a glass of wine and nibbles and to peruse the shop with great advice. The wine subscription is a brilliant idea and we look forward to our box every other month. We get to try something new and the tasting notes to go with it are really helpful.

One of our favourite places in Hitchin. Always welcoming, the wine selection is amazing and who can say no to a sharing platter?! We have been getting a monthly wine subscription since the beginning of the first lockdown and it always brings us new and exciting wines to try.

The Wee Vinoteca is one of our favourite places in Hitchin. Lovely wines in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The wine tasting event was great - the first one we’ve been to - a great way to try different wines and learn about them from owner Duncan. Highly recommend.
