Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear Bob hasn’t quite lived up to expectations in terms of value for you.

On average, our Bob community gets around 10–15 washes per bar. That can vary depending on how long you shower for, how big (or small) you are, and how hairy (or not) you are.

Our new formulas have been designed to be highly lathering and highly moisturising. When these two things are combined, and depending on how long you wash for, bars can go down faster.

We recently introduced Bob bundles to tackle that issue, which offer more refills at a discounted cost, ensuring you have enough bars to last every month. We know how important value is, and we believe that this is a great option to get the most value out of our product.

With all of that said, we appreciate that we’re not the cheapest on the market, but we pride ourselves on using the cleanest and best ingredients, and manufacturing in Scotland, both of which come at a premium. We are always trying to reduce the price where we can, but as a new start-up, it takes time to build order volume and achieve economies of scale.

We’re sorry to hear Bob hasn’t quite lived up to expectations for you, especially when it comes to lather and how quickly the bar’s been running out. That’s understandably frustrating, and not the experience we’re aiming for.

Bob can take a little getting used to as it’s a completely different way to wash. For lather, a firm circular motion with the applicator usually helps build things up more effectively before spreading it across the skin. We’ve also recently upgraded our formula to improve both lather and scent, so it’s disappointing to hear yours didn’t deliver on that.

On longevity, most of our community tends to get around 10–15 washes per bar, but this can vary depending on how long you’re washing for and how much pressure is applied.

In terms of pricing, we know we’re not the cheapest option out there. We focus on high-quality, naturally derived ingredients and UK manufacturing, which does come at a premium, but we’re always working on ways to improve value, including our bundle options.

On longevity, most of our community typically gets around 10–15 washes per bar, but this can vary depending on how long you’re washing for and how much pressure is applied. That said, lasting less than a week definitely doesn’t sound right, so we’d really like to dig into that with you.

For lather, Bob can take a little getting used to as it’s a different way of washing. A firm circular motion with the applicator usually helps build up a proper lather before spreading it. We’ve also recently upgraded our formula to improve both lather and scent strength, so it’s disappointing to hear yours felt lacking on both fronts.

In terms of getting that sweet spot with the bar position, it can take a little bit of trial and error at first. A small adjustment can make a big difference between lather and exfoliation, so we’d recommend experimenting slightly with how far the bar is exposed depending on your preference.
