HI Weldrick Ltd is a family-owned company registered in England and based in Doncaster, Yorkshire- we have had an internet presence since 1998. We fully pay UK taxes and we do not divulge your personal data to any third parties. We have a pharmacy tradition dating back to the 1930s when our late founders' grandmother opened her first pharmacy in Doncaster Town Centre. Remaining true to his vision our business remains 100% family-owned. With a commitment to community healthcare and staff training we have steadily grown to 59 pharmacies in the South Yorkshire area. We employ over 600 formally trained staff among who are more than 80 pharmacists, including 9 clinical pharmacists. While our aim is not to make any mistakes we recognise they will happen occasionally and if they do we commit to communicating with our customers, do our best to put the problem right, identify the cause of the error and learn from it.

Oh dear...

According to statement on the Weldricks website: "Our on-line customer service team are available to give professional healthcare advice in a confidential environment either by email or telephone”.

Great. So I thought I'd ask them about the difference between in the ingredients in two OTC, non-prescription, non-medicated products.

The reply came back "we spoke to our Pharmacy Technician, here is a link to the ingredients list, go speak to your local pharmacy or GP".

Well, gee. Thanks guys ... NOT !

Up until now I was a loyal Weldricks customer. But if they are not willing to answer basic questions about non-medicated non-prescription products then god help you if you have a query or concern about something medicated or prescription.

Don't waste your time, go to your local pharmacy instead. That's where Weldricks will send you anyway ....

Grateful

My cat has feline asthma and he requires human inhalers. Firstly there are only a few places that sell them on vet prescriptions and the prices vary massively. Locally it was extortionate and my cat isn't insured (I have learnt my lesson).

The medication is affordable from Weldricks, the process of uploading his prescription is easy and the items are delivered quickly. Initially when the order arrived it was missing an item, I reached out in the evening and they responded first thing apologising and promising to send out the missing item immediately (which arrived the next day). I was so worried about the missing item but they looked in to what happened immediately and were very apologetic. I cannot fault them in any way, mistakes happen and it was rectified within hours.

Thanks team for making medication accessible and affordable, you are literally saving my cat's life!

3rd Purchase

I have just made my 3rd purchase from Weldricks for my mother. I was a little worried the first time having never used them before but they have been excellent. Dispatched the same day, if not the next and delivered to me tracked within 2 days. The packaging is great, keeping my items very secure and the value for money is better than I've found anywhere else. I will happily keep using Weldricks.

Fantastic Tickhill branch.

I called in to the Tickhill branch for a blood pressure check and was a bit wound up after problems with my GP surgery.
Mary was lovely as always, really calmed me down, did my test and sorted me out.
Huge thanks to Mary, Sue, David and all the team for the fantastic job they do. The 4th emergency service!

Ordering Librela refrigerated item.

Recently I ordered Librela ampoules for injection for my dog through Weldricks which required to be delivered directly to my Veterinary Practice. This was a refrigerated item which needed overnight delivery via DPD. A very helpful lady by the name of Katherine (Customer Service Advisor) discussed with me the whole process from ordering to delivery, the whole process was managed superbly. I couldn't have asked for a better service. I will definitely order from Weldricks again and will be recommending them to others. A huge thank you to Katherine who is a credit to your company!

Excellent service …

It's always a pleasant experience when ordering from Weldricks online pharmacy. I placed my last order on a Sunday evening and I received notification to say it had been delivered to my chosen click and collect store a couple of days later. Excellent service.

Fabulous

Fabulous! I always use Weldricks as their prices are very good and delivery and packaging excellent. I regularly buy a big bottled item, 3 at a time, and they are always packaged to the highest standard so have never had any breakages.

Why don't they answer the phone?

I wanted to place an order online but needed information about delivery times as I am going to be away in a few days time. The Customer Services number on the website (0808 164 3211) won't connect - I tried many times, all I got was several seconds of silence and the the connection dropped out. I called their Woodlands shop and a very helpful lady gave me another number (01302 554164) which she said was for their online ordering service. I tried this one twice, but each time it rang for several seconds then cut out unanswered.

Because I couldn't order with confidence from Weldricks I had to go to another supplier.

Not very helpful!!

I am very sorry to learn from your review that you experienced difficulties while trying to call us on our customer service telephone number.
As we were receiving some calls, I have no logs of there being a fault on the line and my customer services colleague have not reported there were any operational issues, therefore I was unaware this was happening.
Thank you for taking your time to speak with one of my customer care colleagues earlier this morning and for giving them details of the times that you tried to contact us. This is very useful and I will pass this information onto our telephone service provider to see if they can find out what happened so as to prevent it from happening again in the future. I also understand that my customer care colleague gave you our customer service email address customerservices@weldricks.co.uk so that if you do wish to give us another chance, you have an alternative method of contact.

Three days after paying for next day delivery!! Ordered eyedrops mid afternoon last…

Ordered eyedrops mid afternoon last Wednesday. Paid the extra for one day delivery. Informed today (Friday) that items are not going to be delivered till Saturday. This is too late as on holiday tomorrow when I needed them. Very disappointing and to pay extra for next day delivery that is now three days. Asking for a refund. Could have got them elsewhere and cheaper and guaranteed in 48 hours. Won't be using Weldricks again
Update. Just returned from holiday and Michael from Weldricks has refunded my money for the delayed order. Good customer service. Pity its Amazon 1 day service used

Service

Product prices - very good.
Dispatch times - excellent.
Communication - excellent.
I have used Weldricks three times now for my pet medication, very simple to order from them even with prescription drugs. Make the order, give the order number to my vet, they raise the prescription and upload it to the order. Weldricks send out items.
No hassle at all, deliver on time,
I will certainly be using them for all future medication.
Highly recommended.

Just used for first time for vet…

Just used for first time for vet prescription. My vet needed to contact them and said they were really helpful. Cost was significantly lower than previously paid and received medication quickly. Will definitely use again.
