Die Westbahn verkehrt im 30-Minuten-Takt zwischen Wien, St. Pölten, Amstetten, Linz, Wels, Vöcklabruck und Salzburg und fährt dann weiter nach Innsbruck (über Kufstein, Wörgl und Jenbach), Bregenz und Lindau oder in Deutschland nach Rosenheim, München, Augsburg, Günzburg/LEGOLAND® Deutschland, Ulm und Stuttgart. Außerdem fahren wir dreimal täglich direkt und ohne Umstieg vom Wiener Westbahnhof in den Pinzgau und Pongau und retour. So verbinden wir u.a. Saalfelden, Zell am See, St. Johann/Pg., Bischofshofen und Hallein mit dem Osten Österreichs. Mit der Streckenerweiterung in den Süden geht's mit der Westbahn ab sofort von Wien über Wien Meidling, Wr. Neustadt, Bruck/M nach Graz, Klagenfurt und Villach. Terrible experience

I had a terrible experience with this company. I bought a ticket for my Munich - Paris journey, and only when I onboarded, they told me that the ticket only covers a part of it, and if I want to onboard I have to pay 60 euros more to the rest of the journey. Either this is a purposeful scam or the system is super badly designed so that it tricks the ticket buyer into into missing this and having to pay for extra ticket. I will never ever recommend this company. I feel deeply frustrated

Great help & Respect

The associate at 02BA4 was super helpful. My brother and I went to the wrong station with the correct ticket but he made sure we got on the right one!

Today I had terrible and very negative…

Today I had terrible and very negative experience in my life and 1st time ever the worst experience with train staff members.
The trains are my favourite way of travelling.
I did have to go to my client in Hütteldorf from Westbahnhof.I had problems in my left knee and under medical investigation and your staff was absolutely non professional and didn't let me to use yours train (To Salzburg,11:38) until Hütteldorf Station.
Also i have the Klima card and your staff members did command to me shouting to go out from train and didn't let me to use it but saw my card and Healthy problem with walk,so without any humanity neither empathy didn't let me to use yours train.
So completely shameful and disgraceful experience with you.
I had my Klima card so I no need to buy extra ticket. So it means I have rights to use to travel any distance by any transport including trains whatever company is in Austria.
So it means here is one big scam.
On one side I have rights and yearly card for all in Austria but your staff didn't let me to use my right which I pay each month and according the EU and Austria Law, it is against the Law that your staff didn't let me to use service but I paid already.
So it means your company not responding properly according to the Customer service acts in Law.
So why I didn't have rights to use my Klima card in yours train which is already paid? So money given but service was not returned. Completely shit and disgusting service by this company. No surprise why a lot of people are unhappy with trains , because of shit and unfriendly and no respectful staff members. Scam.
I have my KLIMA CARD AND HAVE FULL RIGHTS FOR ANY DISTANCE BY ANY TRANSPORT WHICH GOES IN AUSTRIA.
SO MY ASSUMPTION IS CORRECT.
JUST SEE THE TRUST AND REVIEWS BY CUSTOMERS.
THE CUSTOMER IS CORRECT AND HAVE ALWAYS RIGHTS.
SO happy to go further with complain against you.
My money is paid according to the Austria Law but you did break it when you didn't accept it.
So don't challenge me ever.

Unfriendly Staff

We were on the train to Vienna Westbahnhof, leaving Salzburg at 18.30 1st May having missed the connection. The Stuttgart train was running late. We were given no information that Westbahn doesn't except tickets from Deutschbahn. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful and instead of advising us to get off at the next possible station for the IC, they were just money grabbing.
