Refund for cancelled show

Asked for a refund for a cancelled show Dirty Dancing, got a reply for a refund within 3-5 days, two weeks later, no refund, now they are ignoring my emails, also my contact form on the website.

To clarify: you received a notification on 29 August that Dirty Dancing had been cancelled. On the same day, you contacted our authorised ticketing provider via their chatbot, and your refund was initiated immediately.

Today was the first time you reached out directly to us at WestEndTheatre.com, and we responded within a few hours after looking into the situation fully so that we could provide you with an accurate reply.

We have also sent you a detailed refund transaction report, which includes the reference number your bank can use to trace the funds if they have not yet appeared in your account.

Quick friendly customer response

I booked a ticket for a show, then days later I couldn't find the confirmation number anywhere! I contacted the guys at West End Theatre, and they sorted it all out for me, and resent my booking info. One of staff - Paul I think his name was - was really helpful. Thank you!

West End theatre not very helpful

West End theatre not very helpful. They said they couldn’t help. I’ve been trying to book Access (disabled) tickets for Dirty Dancing at the Capital Theatre at Westfield London and they aren’t responding. In desperation I contacted West End theatres for help but they said they couldn’t help. I still haven’t managed to make my booking

Tickets are non-refundable / no exchange to another show and / or theatre, customer support unhelpful.

Just to aware everybody who will purchase the tickets from this provider, be careful and double check your tickets before the payment as they are non - refundable ( you must buy extra protection for this reason) and you wouldn’t be able to exchange them to another show and / or theatre. I’ve bought the tickets by mistake; we cannot attend this show – lost of £64 - Booking Reference: SLL58800

We completely understand how frustrating it can be to realise you’ve booked the wrong show and then find that changes aren’t possible. All West End theatres and authorised theatre ticket providers sell tickets that are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, unless additional ticket protection is selected at checkout.

In your case, you purchased the tickets on one day, and then contacted our ticketing partner the next day. They responded that same day, but unfortunately the venue was unable to authorise a refund.

We’re sorry this outcome was disappointing, and we do genuinely regret that we couldn’t resolve it as you had hoped. We appreciate your feedback, and hope this won’t deter you from enjoying future theatre visits.

Disappointing customer service

I somehow purchased three tickets instead of two, one ticket was seated well across the theatre from the other two. I called as the mistaken ticket was also still on sale on their website (I sent proof of this). They refused to refund, refused to move the ticket to at least be seated by the others to offer to a friend at the very least, they were just so unhelpful. Wouldn't help over the phone everything via email but a no response email. I don't know if the error was their site or me during purchase but seems maybe both at fault. The show was great but I wouldn't purchase using this site again, there's many sales websites that I'd hope have better customer service.

Perfect holiday gift

It was my daughters first time seeing Phantom, so a beautiful theatre & cast made it wonderful. Also had a problem with emailing the tickets & staff quickly fixed the problem once they received the email request.

They never respond to your queries

They never respond to your queries. I received an electronic ticket months ago with no confirmation e-mail and no details on the ticket. I requested a confirmation e-mail a few times and received nothing from them.

Our visit went very smoothly, it was a great experience, and the staff were helpful and attentive. I was treating my daughter in law, and we both had a wonderful time
