WESTFIELD FASTENERS LIMITED Reviews

Superb service and communication. Arrived really fast and were good quality. They fitted perfectly thank you. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service received yet again from Westfield Fastners. Needed some stainless steel screws for a project at home so used Westfield Fasteners, great range of products and options, plus delivery choices. Items were despatched and delivered very quickly. Have used Westfield’s before and will use again if I need to. Thanks.

Very good service good turn around arrive on time very good quality good, in the diary for next time thanks,

Very clear website. I was ordering stainless steel hooks, for external use in a confined space, and appreciated the drawing provided, alongside a table which gave the relevant dimensions for a range of hook sizes. The order was processed immediately and delivered promptly.

Initial order processed and delivered very quickly, a slight issue with one item was resolved within one working day. Excellent service and will buy from them again

I have been buying various stainless steel bolts from them for awhile. The prices are competitive and the shipment is prompt, can't complain.

Absolutely hopeless delivery service ! DHL tried to deliver items to completely wrong address saying we were not in ! Yeah we wouldn’t be in at the address you tried to deliver too Barry !

Enormous stock of A4 grade stainless steel marine fastenings and fittings. Quick service and good value.

I had a bit of a problem knowing which type of bolt to use on my project. The lady I spoke to was very helpfull and sorted it out in minutes which is something AI can not do.

Exactly what I wanted, stainless steel hexagon drive long wood screws. Could not get these at Screwfix, Toolstation or B&Q
Delivered quickly and have resolved my problem completely.

Easy part's to find and in stock thank you.

They had just what I needed for my project, My items arrived very quick, had a little hiccup with the order one item was the wrong size.
I phoned them straight away 100% helpful, so polite updated with emails, blinding service very easy to get sorted out. before i even posted back the wrong items my replacement were on there way in plenty of time for the job.
When you consider the amount of stock held screws fasteners and what not these things happen.
Will definitely order from Westfield in the future.

I purchased A2 stainless square hooks "A2-Woodscrew-SqHook" in two sizes:

4.0 x 45mm long, and
4.5 x 50mm long.

The site states that the screw threads lengths are approximately 15mm and 20mm respectively.

When I want a refund for the 4.0 x 45mm because the screw thread was in fact 25mm long I was told I would have to cover the cost of the return and the "approximate wording" on their specifications was pointed out to me.

A 66% increase in something looks like miss selling to me!

The 4.5 x 50mm were as advertised

I am still in discussion with them

I particularly appreciate the vast range of products that you provide, especially the smaller sizes, and the fact that you will supply the small orders that I require as a model boat builder.

It took 8 days after ordering to tell me they didn't have the part. I agreed an alternative, still wating 8 days later. I won't be coming back.

The staff are very helpful and know their stuff,
The transaction was rapid and easy.
The communications after the order was placed were also very good.
Thank you.

Good value for money.
Delivery of Westfield goods by Royal Mail is very reliable/good.

This is an exceptional company. I needed a small number of machine screws, so small I was embarrassed to place it but Westfield Fasteners treated it like a major order. Acknowledgement of the order was prompt as was the communication and processing, received in very quick time. They restored my faith in British companies! Well done!

I have never used Westfield fasteners before but required an M12 fine for a gearbox. Sourced the item with Westfield but they sent the wrong item. They were swift to send a replacement however then began the time consuming returns process. They sent me the wrong returns code so two phone calls, a trip to the post office plus parking and most importantly a lot of time spent to avoid being charged £6.17 on principle for the replacement item. The bolt is worth £1.60, Westfield have an awful returns policy where the action of returning their mistake has cost the customer many times more than the value of the item.
This service was awful and the policy needs to be reviewed, I will never use them again.

Web site easy to use, communications great.
Previous deliveries have been quick.
