Friendly staff

Friendly staff. Clean store and decent prizes. Best in Mokopane town. Always have stock of everything. Never runs out of stock. Great deals also. Would recommend to anyone looking for big savings and great quality en awesome shopping experience

Searched the internet including eBay…

Searched the internet including eBay looking for some decent new empty watch boxes. I then came across Westpack, first of all I was a little concerned that they were Danish, and I was in the UK. I shouldn't have been !!
They had exactly what I was looking for, at a great price. They're communication was excellent, packaging as you would expect from a packaging company was spot on, and delivery was very quick. What's not to like, I would 100% highly recommend this company to anyone. Many thanks and kind regards, Jim.

I was a customer for several years with…

I was a customer for several years with Westpack and so far, besides small mistakes from the company side, which were sorted immediately, all was ok.
Unfortunate , this has changed.
I had just my usual order , 3-4 times per year, always mostly the same items.
I received last Friday my last order and unfortunately some of the jewellery boxes which I had ordered was send wrongly. So I contacted them immediately via website chat last week, which was closed already for the weekend, so I was aware to wait till this week to get a reply.
This morning I got a two liner email, which told me …. Send again the chat now via email and photos . Well I was not aware to be such an untrustworthy customer after all the years but I understand, and I did all as requested.
I did resend my chat info and also the ”proof” pictures and then got this response.
” …We are going to send the correct ones now and you send back the wrong delivered ones per later delivered shipping label..”
There was no apology, no information what companies have to be used etc. I off course will send back the wrong delivered one, but a few more information which Company etc. Would be simply a basis needed information!
I send them then an email and expressed my really unsatisfactory for this kind of communication and handling and all I got was an answer… we are all humans and doing mistakes.
Well, nice try and excuse, and I know this, However this was not my point of complain. In over 30 years in customer related businesses, I always took the time to contact a customer when something was for what ever reason gone wrong or mistakenly wrong delivered or something else was not handled to the customers request. And I did this in general, no matter for the reasons.

I think it was quite rude and you can now reply to my review as I can seen on previous low reviews.
Fact is, I was treated not as it should be handled. Shame, I thought this was a reliable and customer orientated company.
Unfortunately , this is not the case!
I will not recommend them anymore.

Additional I have to mentioned that the quality of the new postal boxes has dropped.
They used to be high quality, but now they don’t even close properly or bend.
It needs far more taping to secure a save and closed up shipment, which is not really environmentally….
For the postal boxes, I have already found another company. It’s a shame because I really liked the quality they had before.
Why changing a good reliable product, which many customers liked as I can see on the comments?
It’s not only about cost for production, it’s also about to provide a good product! The new post boxes definitely are not near the quality of the previous ones.

!!!!!!!! Update 11/03 !

This is an update as for any problems, this company doesn’t solve it but comes with times lines in any negative review.
The problem is within the company, and they should face it and fix it instead of calling all day about all the emails etc. THIS DOESN’T HELP !

Here my response:

Everyone makes mistakes, and this is, as I wrote not the point here. But getting treated with not even one word of sorry or any apology but like a staff who has to do the work for you….. well that’s quite arrogant and as I wrote before, maybe we are a too small company.

And what a surprise you didn’t refer to my comment to the poor quality of the new post boxes as so many already stated….. what about this?

Please fix the problem, teach your staff to be some kind of professional to handle a problem.

Don’t put excuses and timelines on email contacts here!
The problem lies in your company and the treatment of you customers by your staff!

Well, I’m honestly lost for words. The ” representative “ for this company doesn’t stop sending me emails and have endless excuses and actually now accusing me to be unfair.
Let me be very clear and put it to the point.
1. Your company have send wrong items.
2. I contacted your company and got the information that the replacement will be send and I have to return the wrong send ones. Absolutely correct, but without return information, this is not possible!
3. I addressed that I’m unsatisfied which such kind of response and missing information for the return.
4. I received a rude answer, just stating I have to understand…….everyone makes mistakes.

Yes, that’s true mistakes can happen , but I would apologise if I or one of my staff would do such communication error to a customer.

5. After I put my review on trustpilot, the emails I received was getting more negative and I have to say now, enough is enough!

I will not change my review as it is honest and what I experienced!
The problem is in your team and better customer service should improve with better training in customer service and relations!
I would not accept if my staff would brash off a customer request like your staff did.
This will ensure bad reputation!

I have reviewed the contact, you have had with us, about the 96 boxes being picked in the wrong colour in our warehouse.

You started a conversation via our chatbot on Friday afternoon, stating that you would of course provide photos. Monday morning, my colleague asked for the photos to be sent to her own email, so she could handle the issue for you.

She immediately made a replacement order for the boxes, which was sent out within 3 hours of her first contact with you.

I'm sorry, you did not feel that we met your complaint with a proper apology. Please accept my apology for the wrong delivery and for the missing apology in the first place. We try our best to always send the correct items. We do not succeed 100%, but we take pride in fixing any problem asap.

The new boxes were sent without any cost, so you can keep the black boxes free of charge. No return has been arranged, so no return provider is necessary.

Yes, we have changed the design of our postal boxes. It has been given a lot of thought and care, before we made the decision. You can see all our reasons for the change in the email, I have sent you.

Any answer on a claim to us, should always start with an apology, I agree. I apologize, you did not get an apology in the initial contact with my colleague. I also apologize for the wrong delivery.

However, I do not find it fair to imply that our staff is rude and incompetent because of this missing apology. I wouldn't want to be without a single one of them. As you also write, mistakes occur in every company, this may include an email answered a bit too fast. We will act on this internally.

We solved the problem by sending you new boxes immediately, so you would have the correct boxes as soon as possible.

31 email for sending the non logo items…

31 email for sending the non logo items in advance and not waiting for the logo printing. This is the second time when they send the ordered items twice and wether I ahve to pay twice the amount I ordered originally or it has to be organised to send back the redundant part.

On January 22nd, we received an order from you for boxes with logo print + unprinted pouches and foam pillows.

You asked in a separate email to have the unprinted items sent before the printed boxes, against an extra shipping fee.

This is something we rarely do, so unfortunately and due to an internal mistake on our part, the comment did not reach our shipping department until January 28th, where they were sent with no extra charge.
The printed boxes were ready and sent the next day, January 29th.

We apologize for this delay again and made sure that no extra charges were made.

Going back in time, it is correct that your order 500000000371 for unprinted boxes from May 2024 was sent twice:
We received the order on May 3rd and sent it out on May 6th along with an invoice email notifying you of the shipment and including a tracking link.

On May 10th, you complained that you had not received any information about the order, and we pushed your order through to our system again.
This order was sent on May 13th.

Being able to push the same order through again, should of course not be possible and was an error in our system, which was fixed soon after this incident.

Immediately after you brought our attention to the matter, my colleague Hanne offered to pick up the extra shipment free of charge for a full refund.
Alternatively, you could keep the extra shipment with a discount. We did not hear from you after making this offer.

I assume that you have used the boxes, but our offer with the discount still stands for the double order. If you have not used the boxes, we are also still willing to pick them up for a refund, even though it has been 8 months since our offer.

I hope to hear from you, so we can resolve this matter.

Excellent quality and service

Excellent quality and service. The delivery might be faster when the World strives for the next day delivery. But if you count in 1 week delivery time within Europe, then it is ok.
We will continue using Westpack products as there is no equivalent.
