I ordered a number of items and paid

I ordered a number of items and paid - they sold to somebody else. Over a month ago I ordered many things that should have arrived early April. They sent the shipment but for some reasons did not arrived. Now they have investigated and they told me that the goods were returned (WHY??) back to Westwing and they don't have them anymore. So they basically sold to somebody else or never had in the first place. To compensate me, they are giving 10 euro voucher. A joke! I waited almost 2 months, they never sent the goods now I imagine and that's it. What a wasted of time and money. Plus I have no clue when they will reimburse my money.

Unfortunately, our system does not allow for the process you suggested. Items are assigned to individuals the moment an order is placed, and it is not possible to sell the same product to two people simultaneously.

If a shipment is sent out and the transport company is unable to deliver it for any reason, it is returned to the sender as "undeliverable" and a refund is issued. As I mentioned, the item cannot be directly redirected or resold to another customer as you proposed. It must first reach our returns warehouse to have its contents inspected; only then can it be processed back into stock and become available for sale to another customer again.

I want to put your mind at ease regarding this matter. Refunds are processed quickly, so you should see the transaction reflected in your account shortly. Regarding the compensation, it appears that the coupon you received was sent as an apology for the inconvenience.

That being said, please provide us with your order number so we can investigate the specifics of your case and validate your feedback.

delivery options

Am surprised a company such as Westwing doesn't provide delivery options such as delivered in your apartment, delivery with mounting services. As a furniture company some of the goods are to heavy for a woman to lift alone so you are not only excluding single women but also anyone with a handicap that can't lift anything heavy. Not sure how this fits with your Customer experience and social responsibility? Happy to pay for extra service if it was made available. Thank you for considering

That is correct. Westwing Spain offers home delivery including unboxing and assembly for large items such as sofas, beds, and wardrobes.

More manageable items—such as chairs, side tables, or small decorative pieces—are shipped via a standard courier service. These are delivered to your front door in their original packaging. Only bulky furniture includes the full delivery, unboxing, and assembly service.

You can find the specific delivery type for each product in its description. If you have any questions about a particular item, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Efectivamente, Westwing España ofrece la entrega a domicilio con desembalaje y montaje para artículos grandes (como sofás, camas o armarios).

Sin embargo, los elementos más manejables —como sillas, mesas auxiliares o artículos pequeños de decoración— se envían a través de un servicio de mensajería regular. En estos casos, la entrega se realiza en la puerta de casa con la caja cerrada. Solo los muebles voluminosos incluyen el servicio de entrega, desembalaje y montaje.

Terrible service

Terrible service. Charges shipping fees but has their shipping partner deliver parcels in store right away because saying “we have too many orders to deliver”. They refused to refund the shipping fees. Then, to return a parcel, you have to wait for the same lazy delivery company who emails a date and doesn’t show up. I’ve now been waiting for a parcel to be picked up with no option to ship it back myself. I’m traveling next week and if it isn’t picked up by then I’ll raise a claim with my credit card.

We are very sorry that deliveries during this period have not been up to the usual standards you expect from us.

From the second week of December, we have noticed that SEUR has been delivering some orders directly to pickup points without first attempting home delivery and without our knowledge or consent. When we inquired, they explained that, due to the high volume of shipments during this season, some deliveries are placed directly at pickup points when home delivery cannot be guaranteed on time.

We want to clarify that this measure is entirely beyond Westwing’s control and is intended to help customers receive their orders before Christmas, especially when, due to workload, staff availability, or longer distances, home delivery is not feasible during this period.

We are doing everything possible to return to our regular service, but it is possible that full normalization may not occur until after December 24th, and deliveries may not be carried out exactly as you are used to.

Nevertheless, we would like to review your experience to improve the service we provide. However, with the information you have given us, we were unable to locate your Westwing account. Please provide your order number or the email address used to make your purchases so we can assist you and validate your feedback.

Useless Customer Service, unreliable procedure

I placed an order at the beginning of October, I have not received my item yet, and agents keep writing apaling and confusing answers to my query.
This year my puchase experience using Westwing Spain: long and uncertain dates for delivery. Awfully poor and improfessional customer care service.
The choise, and quality/price ratio for products has severely decreased since 2023.
This will be my last purchase using this website.

As we mentioned previously, we are experiencing delays due to issues with the transport company, which is currently saturated and taking longer than usual to collect orders from our warehouses. However, we can inform you that your order has already left our international warehouse today 19th, so we expect it to be delivered in Spain within the next few days.

Regarding delivery times, we currently work with international suppliers, which can indeed lead to longer timelines compared to when we operated exclusively with national suppliers. Nevertheless, we take your feedback very seriously and will share it internally so we can continue negotiating improvements in delivery estimates with our suppliers and logistics partners.

Very negative review – terrible experience with Westwing

We ordered a sofa from Westwing over two months ago, for a considerable amount of money, and it still hasn’t arrived. What’s even more unacceptable is the complete lack of communication from the company.
We have tried multiple times to contact them by phone and email, but received no response. Their customer service is non-existent, if not outright disrespectful. No follow-up, no replies, no regard for the customer.
This is truly a disgrace. We deeply regret our purchase and strongly advise against buying from Westwing if you’re looking for a reliable and professional service.

"outdoor" chairs full of rust

I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the service I’ve received.

The first damages to one chair were visible as soon as I took them out of the package in February 2024. I immediately contacted customer support and sent photos, and I was promised a solution. However, to this day, I have received NOTHING. No resolution, no follow-up, nothing.

The chairs are still sitting in the same place where no one ever came to pick them up. And now, I’ve just noticed that I haven't received any credit or refund! This is completely unacceptable. It’s beyond frustrating that I have to keep chasing a solution when the mistake is clearly on their end.

To make matters worse, the chairs are now rusty! I never even had them outside, and yet they’re rusting. What kind of "outdoor" chairs rust this quickly? This is a complete joke!

!Sillas de ratán con reposabrazos Costa! Adecuado para uso exterior, pero siempre debe protegerse de las heladas.

I will never buy from this company again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before making a purchase. Terrible customer service and subpar products.

Siento mucho el malentendido.

Hemos querido revisar lo sucedido y podemos confirmarte que, efectivamente, el 26 de enero de 2024 recibimos un email indicando que había problemas con el polyratán en una parte concreta de una de las sillas que recibiste. Por este motivo, se solicitó la devolución de su juego de 2 sillas del pedido realizado el 13 de enero de 2024. Concertamos un servicio de recogida con Seur el 29 de enero de 2024, pero usted nos comunicó que sólo una silla estaba dañada y que prefería repararla. Por ello, nos hiciste saber que preferías recibir una indemnización y quedarte con ambas sillas en el estado en el que llegaron, lo que procedimos a tramitar.

Vemos que el viernes, 9 de mayo de 2025, volvió a ponerse en contacto con nosotros, esta vez haciéndonos saber que las sillas se están oxidando. Nuestro compañero le respondió para informarle de que vamos a presentar una reclamación de garantía al fabricante, ya que efectivamente se trata de sillas de exterior. Para ello, necesitamos cierta información que ya le hemos solicitado, y en estos momentos estamos esperando su respuesta para poder proceder.

Nos volveremos a poner en contacto con usted por si hay algo más en lo que podamos ayudarle.

I’m very sorry for the misunderstanding.

We wanted to review what happened and we can confirm that on January 26, 2024, we did indeed receive an email indicating that there were issues with the poly rattan on a specific part of one of the chairs you received. For this reason, a return was requested for your set of 2 chairs from the order placed on January 13, 2024. We arranged a collection service with Seur on January 29, 2024, but you informed us that only one chair was damaged and you preferred to repair it. Therefore, you let us know that you would rather receive compensation and keep both chairs in the condition they arrived, which we proceeded to arrange.

We can see that on Friday, May 9, 2025, you contacted us again, this time letting us know that the chairs are rusting. Our colleague responded to inform you that we will be filing a warranty claim with the manufacturer, as these are indeed outdoor chairs. For this, we need some information that we’ve already requested from you, and we’re currently awaiting your reply in order to proceed.

We will get back in touch with you in case there’s anything else we can help with.

Shipment never arrived!

I ordered an armchair on 23rd November 2024 and 3 months later its still not been delivered. The delivery status in the app always says "En Curso" and each time i contact the courier they say they have not received the item from Westwing. Very poor service.

Very poor service……We conducted an…

Very poor service……We conducted an extensive renovation on our house and spent in excess of €20,000 with this company. When we had a problem with an outside table (which was of exceptionally poor quality), we sent an email to them and they promised to collect it and replace. This happened over 3 months ago and they have ignored us completely. Very disappointing customer service when I would have thought we would be treated as a valued customer. Shop elsewhere if you can.

I used to love Westwing

I used to love Westwing. But now I think they are way over prized and not even present other than boaring and modern overprized products. A long time since I purchased someting and I hope they will change, because I used to love the offers.

Fake delivery time

It’s the third time I order something with delivery for 1-10 days and after the 10 days I receive an email saying that it will come more than a month after, from November to after 06.01. It happen to me with a part of the sofa that came 2 months later and wrong, so it took 4 months that I had half of the sofa at home. Really disappointed. They should be honest with delivery dates.

Long wait, wrong items and deleted orders

I bought three items with Westwing. Not to mention the extremely long wait I have had plenty of issues. The wooden spring for the bed do not fit despite being matched on the website and my second item was sent back and also discounted. They told me it would be sent again and after another whole month of wait, they simply just informed me that it was going to be refunded. So after waiting for 2.5 months for a 300 eur, one slot shoe rack, I have now nothing!

Edit, my order number is #2013, I really have no trust you will see and reply to this.

Siento lo ocurrido con tu pedido.
Lamento profundamente que no hayas podido recibir uno de los artículos porque no hemos podido reenviarlo. Al tratarse de envíos internacionales, es posible que no hayamos podido reenviar el artículo y hayamos tenido que emitir un reembolso. No obstante, nos gustaría revisarlo para ver si podemos mejorar nuestro servicio, por supuesto.
En cuanto a la cama que mencionas, al igual que los sofás, no son productos que tengamos en stock, sino que se fabrican por encargo. En consecuencia, suelen tardar al menos 8 semanas en fabricarse y 2 semanas en enviarse, por lo que la espera suele ser larga. Intentamos reducir estos plazos de entrega, pero no queremos comprometer la calidad, lo que hace difícil acortar estos plazos en estos casos.
En cuanto al muelle de madera que mencionas, parece que cuando añadiste la cama al carrito, el sistema te sugirió un producto a tener en cuenta basándose en lo que podrías estar buscando. No vinculamos productos entre sí, ya que nuestro sistema no tiene actualmente esta capacidad, pero sí sugiere artículos que otros clientes han comprado junto con el que está en su cesta, por si le interesa.
Dicho esto, como he mencionado antes, nos gustaría revisar la situación. Sin embargo, con los datos que nos has facilitado, no puedo acceder a tu cuenta en Westwing España para revisar tu caso concreto e intentar ayudarte.

I'm sorry about what happened with your order.
I deeply regret that you were unable to receive one of the items because we couldn’t resend it. Since these are international shipments, it is possible that we were unable to reship the item, and we had to issue a refund. However, we would like to review it to see if we can improve our service, of course.
Regarding the bed you mentioned, like the sofas, these are not products we keep in stock but are made to order. As a result, they typically take at least 8 weeks for manufacturing and 2 weeks for shipping, so it's usually a long wait. We are trying to reduce these delivery times, but we do not want to compromise on quality, which makes it challenging to shorten these timelines in these cases.
Concerning the wooden spring you mentioned, it seems that when you added the bed to the cart, the system suggested a product for you to consider based on what you might be looking for. We do not link products to each other, as our system does not currently have this ability, but it does suggest items that other customers have purchased along with the one in your cart, in case you're interested.
That being said, as I mentioned earlier, we'd like to review the situation. However, with the details you have provided, I cannot access your account on Westwing Spain to review your specific case and try to assist you.

AVOID WESTWING AT ALL COSTS. THEY USE SEUR FOR DELIVERIES

I am giving Westwing the lowest possible rating because it uses SEUR for its deliveries which is beyond horrible. SEUR has an astounding 16,700+ NEGATIVE reviews on Trustpilot España. My order keeps being delayed, with Westwing unable to obtain any response from SEUR and SEUR never responding to any kind of enquiry through any means of communication from anybody.
I have asked Westwing to cancel my order and provide me with full reimbursement if they fail to obtain a delivery date from SEUR. I hope my review will serve as an eye opener for those who'd be tempted to order from Westwing: you won't receive your order.
