I worked for WeType for just over a year and I must say in all honesty I don't know how they can say you can earn £11+ an hour. I am an experienced PA/Med Sec having worked in the private sector and NHS for over 40 years and I am a fast and experienced typist and on a good day I was just about making £7.50 an hour and that was typing flat out without a break!...... I worked 5 hours a day, three days a week. I would love to know how someone earns £11+ an hour. Some days obviously you did not get much work and other days quite a lot. I was lucky from the point of view in that I got the same speciality to type which I was quite familiar with which was a bonus and the dictation on the whole was clear.

My treatment with this company was bad enough to cause me to resign after my first day and then I was told quite a few people do that! I returned the exit form. I did a full day's work that I expect to be paid for but true to this company's inefficiency, I have not received a statement as I should have done on 31 July to inform me of how much I Will be paid on 15 September as CONTRACTUALLY promised. I must be paid for the work I did. If not I am going to my solicitor, trading standards and the citizen's advice bureau about WETYPE UK! All sorts of things were promised at sign up by you and not carried out and I fear you are running a sweat shop style organisation paying half the minimum wage as well. I must be paid. Reply to me please asap. What have you done with my personal information as well?
