Mis sold me a carhartt jacket that not only wasn’t the stated size but also had major marks not photographed. The jacket was not in the condition stated. We vintage have not responded to my emails and have til the end of today to respond or I’m taking this further.

Be careful - Goods are not always what you purchase.

Awful customer service next step is having to sort legal action as no reply from them via email, Instagram and phone or text. Ordered a North face puffer (for the 2nd time as they messed up before) based on a video they sent of the jacket I was buying. But they did not send this one but one which was the wrong size and a jacket in far poorer condition than the video. Essentially what was delivered was not what we purchased. Was happy to have a conversation or for the correct jacket to be sent but they just have ignored us. All they have to do is reply to the communications and this review could be very different. Just wish they would not just ignore us.

You must avoid. Poor condition clothes & awful customer service

First off, I never write bad reviews. But in this case one has to be written to warn others that may be wanting to shop with WeVintage. It seems like they advertise clothes and tend to ship something different in worse off condition. I ordered a Carhartt coat off their website, the one that arrived was a completely different colour tone and condition to the one shown in photos. Mine turned up with holes and genuinely smelt so badly, with dirt and hairs all clogged up in the hood. This kind of condition would be expected when paying a small amount for a vintage coat, but this cost £180. It’s completely unacceptable. They say that items slip through “quality checks”, this is rubbish as it would be impossible to ignore the smell it was in. They don't even disclose on their website that this may be the case of their vintage items.

I contacted them prior to purchasing the coat and they were all helpful and responding within minutes through their live chat. However, when I later contacted them on multiple occasions both through email and live chat asking to return it for a refund… Silence. I had to go through the hassle of raising a chargeback with my bank to reverse the payment. I will also be taking legal action under the Consumer Rights Act.

It really says a lot about a company sending clothes in such poor condition while charging huge amount of money, only to completely ignore multiple customer emails when you have a problem. They really don’t care about customers. I really urge you to shop elsewhere for much better priced secondhand clothes and most importantly, essential buyer protection. I’m not the only one to have had such bad service. I wish I read the negative reviews that others have left beforehand to avoid all of this hassle.

Defective Coat

I’ll start this off by saying that the coat is actually nice and that we like the look of it.

However the coat we received was defective, it had very little stuffing in one of the coats arms and so appears flimsy and not fit for use as an actual coat.

Also there is a large and obvious stitch on the back of the coat that is clearly the result of a previous rip, we have been sent a damaged coat.

As it stands the company initially reached out to us to help with our queries on 11/12/2023 however when we have sent the images of the damage to the coat and showing that it is defective, we have not received any further help or guidance regarding this matter and it is now the 19/12/2023.

As it stands, unless this issue is resolved I would not buy from this company as you have to chase them up for answers and you may be sent a defective coat, despite paying premium prices.

We have emailed many times asking for help from the company regarding this matter and have rung the phone number but received no answer. It seems as if the company are not eager to resolve this issue.

Being so close to Christmas it is a shame as we will not be getting the product we payed for in time for Christmas.

I sent a parcel with gold 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything!..I tried calling and I've emailed them. I have proof of sending from the post office, not sure what to do now. It was a good amount of gold too, I know its supposed to be insured.

Do not recommend, buy a new one.

I bought the jacket last year. I got a jacket with little hole’s in where stuff from the jacket came out. I had it repaired but it looked horrible. A year after the jacket is not puffy on 1 side and looks not good. Would not recommend buying. After all the complaints they blocked me and left me with the jacket. The jacket is too expensive to be bad. The jacket was really old I think. Please contact me! After one year i still do not hear anything from them.

NO customer service

Absolutely no customer service, as the moment you send your possessions, you have to do all the chasing and more chasing and some more chasing.

It is the second time I have used them, months apart, and once you finally get to speak to a member of staff, they blame being understaffed and too many incoming packages. First time, you give them the grace but the second time, it is the same excuses!

Would not recommend or indeed use again, as I have asked for my possessions to be returned due to poor service and ridiculous offer.

I love my new jacket

I absolutely love my vintage nascar jacket. It’s unique, it’s in great shape and I’m super happy with it. The shipping was fast, at a good price and the staff were very helpful. I’m very happy with my jacket and my experience, thanks so much.

Great store

Ordered a Baltoro jacket here, got a parcel notification the first day stating that it was shipped, after that it took 2 days to deliver at customs.

After that it took weeks, so i decided to contact customer support, kept in mind that it was on a friday expecting to get an answer on monday, this didn't happened due to it being a bank holiday, i did got a reply the next day (tuesday) explaining that it was a bank holiday which by than i realised.

Apart from the chat bot on their website i thought the customers support was quite good especially since it goes via Email which usually isn't the best, overall especially for them not having a huge team for customer support i had a great experience.
