I’m writing this review to warn other potential buyers, particularly anyone considering the single unit.
Before purchasing, we contacted the company to confirm that the bin stores were suitable for DIY assembly at our level of experience. We were reassured that they were, and that support would be available if needed. We were also told that the business was a small, family-run company that valued its customers. As small business owners ourselves, we placed trust in those assurances, as integrity and customer care are principles we believe in and uphold with our own customers.
During assembly, we encountered immediate problems with the nuts and bolts. Several were defective and began stripping, making them impossible to remove if the wrong pieces were accidentally assembled together — something that is very easy to do given how confusing the instructions are. The instructions run to around 18 pages, don’t always match what is actually supplied in the boxes, and make it very easy to assemble parts incorrectly.
When we raised concerns about the bolts stripping and becoming stuck, we were told this was user error, not faulty fixings. While we are not engineers, we are perfectly capable of assembling nuts and bolts, and it became clear that once these particular fixings bind or strip, the built-in threaded section can detach from the unit, making removal impossible. In some locations, the bolt cannot even be accessed with long-nose pliers to attempt removal, especially when the screw jams before being fully seated.
At this point, having lost confidence, we asked for a refund (£1,450). This was refused, with the explanation again being that the manufacturer claimed it was user error.
We then asked that someone from the company come out and show us how the units should be assembled. This was declined. Instead, Dan did offer to arrange collection of the units, assemble them at their warehouse, and return them fully built, with the assurance that all we would need to do was level the feet. Wanting the issue resolved so we could continue running our business, we agreed.
Even after the units were assembled by their own staff and returned to us, it was evident that they had encountered the same difficulties with the bolts that we had previously highlighted.
Once installed (one single unit and one double unit) on a level, tiled cement base, the real issue became undeniable:
the units are structurally unstable. The frames flex and move during normal use. Opening and closing the doors causes visible movement, throwing the alignment out repeatedly. The single unit is significantly worse — so unstable that we had to wedge it against a wall and add wooden packing on the opposite side just to stop it shifting when the door and lid were opened.
This is not about small air gaps or cosmetic alignment. It is about structural rigidity and suitability for purpose. While Dan did try to provide additional support, at no point did the company take responsibility for the stability or suitability of the units themselves.
When we again stated that the products were not fit for purpose and requested a refund, the company refused and then stated they would no longer respond and considered the matter closed.
The double unit performs noticeably better, but the single unit is, in our experience, wholly unsuitable. If these products require extreme precision fitting, bolting down, or additional bracing to function properly, this is not made clear at the point of sale, despite being marketed as DIY products for the general public.
Based on our experience, I would strongly caution others before purchasing — especially the single units — and be aware that if problems arise, responsibility is likely to be attributed to “user error,” regardless of the circumstances.

Tools such as a drill or hammer were used only as a last resort, after fixings had already stripped and jammed during normal hand assembly and could not be removed because the built-in threaded sections detached inside the panels. This issue was raised before any such attempts and was repeatedly dismissed as “user error.”
A refund was requested before the units were collected and was refused. The only option offered was for the company to collect and assemble the units themselves. After return, the units were placed on a solid, level cement base, adjusted as instructed, and only then did the structural instability become clear, particularly with the single unit. Responsibility was again attributed to us, and no refund was offered.
While described as a “small, family-run business,” the same directors are linked to multiple trading entities. This was repeatedly used to build trust, so buyers may wish to do their own due diligence.

From the outset, we provided extensive assistance throughout your purchase and assembly process. This included multiple email exchanges, phone calls, and detailed guidance during and after delivery. When you raised concerns, we did not disengage or deflect responsibility; instead, we went well beyond our standard obligations as a small, family-run business.
Specifically, after your request for a refund was declined on the basis that the issues identified were consistent with incorrect assembly rather than manufacturing faults, we offered — at our own cost — to collect the units, transport them to our warehouse, fully assemble them, and return them to you ready for use. This involved additional labour, materials, and shipping expenses absorbed entirely by us in an effort to resolve the matter and allow you to continue operating your business with minimal disruption. After offering this service, something we have never offered nor do we offer, you were happy for us to do this and were still content on taking the pre-built units, you did not insist on a refund as the only satisfactory option for you.
Regarding the fixings: the nuts and bolts supplied are industry-standard components used across many successfully assembled units. Stripped or jammed fixings occur when incorrect assembly steps are followed or excessive force is applied. We were made aware that a hammer had been used during attempted disassembly; this is not an appropriate tool for use with these fixings and will inevitably cause damage to both the fasteners and the unit itself. Damage resulting from such actions cannot reasonably be attributed to defective components or product design.
While our products are designed for DIY assembly, as stated at the point of sale, this does assume a basic level of practical competence, careful adherence to the instructions, and the use of appropriate tools and methods. You mentioned numerous times in your email communications that you had made mistakes on the installation. The instructions are comprehensive because correct sequencing matters; assembling parts out of order can and does lead to complications. This is not unique to our products and does not render them unsuitable or unsafe.
When the units were assembled by our team, they were built in accordance with the instructions and checked prior to return. Any subsequent instability experienced on site is highly dependent on installation conditions, positioning, and external influences. As with many freestanding outdoor structures, final rigidity can be affected by ground conditions, levelling accuracy, proximity to walls, and user interaction. These factors are outside our control once the product has been delivered and installed.
We did continue to offer support following reinstallation. However, we cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by improper handling by yourselves, including damage done with a drill that you sent us photos of and asked for a replacement piece because of this, nor can we offer refunds for products that have been used, modified, or damaged in ways inconsistent with the assembly guidance provided.
We regret that you remain dissatisfied, but we strongly disagree with the implication that we failed to support you or acted without integrity. On the contrary, we made substantial efforts — both practically and financially — to assist you well beyond what is typically expected.
We stand by the quality of our products and the many customers who have assembled and used them successfully.
