I had some issues returning an item in store, so called customer care. I spoke to Engelica who was extremely helpful in processing and my refund and made sure it was fast tracked. I received my refund in hours.

Placed order 23/11/25 with expected delivery date of 26/11/25. Items required for Christmas events. Advised 1/12/25 one item unavailable. No reason for the delay or why order was accepted.
Remaining item received 5/12/25 which was too late to have alterations completed prior to event. Returned 8/12/25 even though return costs are very pricey and I wouldn’t have placed the order if I knew the actual delivery date. Tracking advised received by Whistles 22/12/25. Whistles state received 2/1/26???
Still waiting for refund. Item ordered 6 weeks ago and returned within 2 days. I would not recommend ordering from Whistles if you live in Ireland.
Update 10/1/26. Paid €104.25 returned within two days of delivery, refunded €72 minus €20 for return. €52. I’m at a loss of €52.25
Please think carefully before ordering from this company.

Having received the reply from Whistles to the review I left yesterday, I then had to work out how to access Live Chat. Communicated with Fiona who assured me I would receive an email today, with a refund in 3-5 working days. So far, no email received, so doesn’t bode well. I also asked for my communication to be passed as a complaint to a customer services manager. You’d think I would receive at least an interim email from a manager, but no. Extremely poor customer service.
Bought two wool vests in different colours and the staff could not have been more helpful

Do not buy from Whistles.
We purchased 2 items, they arrived separately. Having waited in all day - the promised delivery came a day later. However, the handbag had been used - scratches all over and the normal packaging was missing. The boots had been worn and had been scuffed - with the same issue of lack of the normal packaging. How did these goods ever get past quality control?
There was worse to come, when we complained Whistles asked for photographic evidence. This was sent straight away, but despite chasing them several times our emails remain unanswered.
Usha in the St Pancras store was really helpful when I had to find a dress for a formal occasion at short notice.

The clothes are lovely and one of the shop assistants was really kind but the one that finally took my clothes to the front desk- I specifically asked for the medium in the jumper (I bought size 12 for the dresses too) instead she gave me the xs and there is no phone number to call to be able to ask for them to put aside the only M left when I got hind and realised. So I feel really disappointed in her for not checking despite me saying clearly to her and it’s so unhelpful that there is no way of calling the store.
