I needed two fridge freezers to replace my Fisher & Paykel 17 year old ones and Richard wanted the challenge of finding replacements for a designated space in the kitchen, he delivered to north of Scotland unpacked new fridges, installed both of them, one having water and ice, took all the boxes away as well as old fridges of course he had his “trusty helper”with him who installed the water and ice fridge freezer etc, I could not fault the service received by Whittakers and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a brilliant courteous service. 10 🌟

Washing machine broke down, phoned Whitakers within a couple of days, took my own machine away and replaced it with a new one at a very competitive price. Two men came and within 30 minutes had taken old machine away and installed new one

I’ve just purchased a new washer on behalf of my parents. I initially rang and spoke with Richard who was fantastic in offering advice and guidance into the repair of an old washer which unfortunately was beyond repair. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful which led me onto making the new purchase. Absolutely fantastic service with next day delivery,the delivery men weee also very polite and happy to help in anyway! I cannot rate Whitakers of Shipley highly enough and look forward to using them again! Thankyou!!

Our freezer recently broke down and we rang Whitakers to see if they could help. They were brilliant and quickly brought us a temporary replacement and organised the manufacturers to repair it.

I wanted to deal with people rather than a website, for better customer service. I have been really impressed with the level of service from ordering to installation.
I called in at the shop and was given a range of choices, which were then emailed to me to look at the reviews. Having made up my mind I went back to the shop. They have a showroom upstairs and I was able to look at the fridges and discuss the merits and minus points of the choices I had. Having made my choice I was given competitive prices.
The delivery/instillation guys arrived on time, and fitted my built in fridge to my satisfaction. I was given a demonstration and advice on using my new heat pump dryer. The guys were fantastic and made sure I was happy before leaving.
I would not have ANY hesitation in recommending this super group of people, Many thanks.

I have been to Whitakers with a view to buying a range cooker. The staff were exceptionally helpful, giving sensible advice, and there was no hard sell. There is extensive stock to view in store.
Prices compared very favourably with those I had seen online.

Couldn't speak more highly of Whitakers, through whom we have just purchased a Fridge/Freezer. They gave us brilliant and v helpful initial advice over the phone, recommending a "Best Buy" - and providing the totally convincing reasons for the recommendation. Their price was extremely competitive (better than Amazon's!) - they delivered bang on time - and their care and efficiency on the installation was outstanding. They also scored full marks on all the "extras" which they did at no extra cost - the plumbing work in capping off the water supply to the "old" Freezer - their tidiness in cleaning up after the installation - and dealing with a couple of after-sales queries - all done with a smile and a positive "can do" approach. Thoroughly recommended.
