Kevin was great and that is why the rating is as high as 4. I reported on the telephone to White and Co the particular operative who dragged the rating down from 5. He packed an in situ mousetrap, a full waste paper bin, and, worst of all, heavy objects on top of an expensive and delicate hat and so ruined it. Having said that, the move (from Ascot to Edinburgh) went well and my wife and I were generally happy. I will say again, Kevin, who was the ‘main man’ and did the Ascot to Edinburgh driving, was great - a real star.

Excellent team. Hardworking, courteous, knew what they were doing.

Dan, Jack and Miles from the Telford team were absolutely brilliant, worked really hard and helped us so much, went above and beyond to make our move as smooth as possible. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Service
The Whites team pulled out all the stops on a very warm few days to get us moved on Friday court day. We were out of one property by lunchtime and into the new property by dinner time. Thank you to all involved.

Fantastic service, really friendly staff and hardworkers, very reasonable on price for a big move, they were recommended to me and I would highly recommend them to anyone else in the future.

Sean, Dan and Adam were professional hardworking and personable throughout our move. They turned up on time and quickly got everything loaded. There was a delay getting the keys and when they turned up to our new house, we found Severn Trent were digging the road up right outside. They dealt with this obstacle with good humour and we were unloaded quickly. This all happened on 25 June 2026 on the hottest day of the year so far.

Happy with our experience. Team of 4 worked hard the day before completion packing up our stuff and returned the following day to complete the process. Steve in particular was very reassuring throughout the process. We were downsizing and on arrival at our new property were overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of boxes being brought in. It was therefore decided to return the following morning to complete the unloading which helped enormously. I would like to shout out to all the guys; Steve, Darren, Fabio and Gavin (?) who all did a sterling job.

From planning our removals to the truck pulling away, White & Company have been a pleasure to work with.
Any questions we had were answered quickly by a real person on the other end of the phone (zero waiting time). The packing boxes arrived on time and the removals team were very knowledgeable and professional.

Special shout out to David and Adam (Telford) who collected, wrapped, documented, and packed our belongings in a very professional manner.
It has been the hottest day of the year and they grafted from start to finish.

Looking into the back of the truck before they left showed the level of excellent, safe wrapping and we know that our belongings are in safe hands.

Have used White & Co several times over the years and have always been very happy with the service and VFM for our long distance and storage moves.

Unfortunately this time, things were less good; the price was expensive comparatively, including a price hike to add, due to a part load move date mismatch.

On delivery, several boxes were damaged and it seems the TV had been mishandled as it no longer worked.

The movers on site were fine so no one can explain where on the journey the damage occurred. Presumably in storage between collection and delivery as we saw nothing wrong from the operatives.

Very disappointed. ☹️

Second time we have used Whites, wouldn’t use anyone else.
The men did everything that you could wish for and more. Polite, friendly, careful and super efficient.
Everything packed and unpacked with care and put where we asked.

I engaged White and company to move my possessions from my old property to my new one. 09.12.25. The process was entirely satisfactory, punctual, friendly staff, great care taken with my furniture etc and potentially 5 star rating.
Naturally while my new property was under renovation and my furniture needed to go into storage, I contacted White and company again following this experience. 07.04.26 Wrong. Things could not have been so different. The crew arrived and consisted of three, one being on his first day who was set to pack up kitchen. He broke a glass! An inventory was completed which was completely unreadable. The last piece of furniture to load was a very expensive dresser. Bubble wrapped on initial move. It was not dismantled as it should have been or protected in any way. When I requested this I was told “ it will be fine we have done it before” I followed it out to the van to discover that half of my belongings were missing and apparently on a different van. When I asked about the container (sealed) as mentioned in your literature I was told “ it will be loaded onto palettes in the warehouse” I was anxious for the 3 months in storage in case all was not returned! I was then presented with several documents to sign which I had no time to read first! 2 days later it was discovered a large kitchen cupboard had not been packed!
There are too many forms to complete at every stage and some appear to be duplicated and I think you rely on technology too much. Not everyone is tech savvy.
02/07/26 The removal from store to property. Steve, Dean and Theo arrived and unloaded in a timely and courteous manner taking care of my furniture etc and protecting my new carpets and new paint work. One piece of furniture was scratched, obviously when removed to store because again it had not been dismantled as requested. Apart from once again requiring numerous signatures which suggest I am happy that all was present and correct the return was a pleasant experience. How can I confirm all this if I have not unpacked the boxes.
I trust that you will use this experience for staff training purposes and maybe review your paperwork issues.
Currently waiting for boxes to be removed which are cluttering my driveway. Hope it does not rain before they are collected.
Thankfully I will not need to move again.

We are very happy with the service we had from White +co. We had two of the Lancashire team bring all our belongings to France, Stuart and Dave, brilliant. Proper grafters, very helpful nothing was too much trouble. We had a large load most of which was heavy steel and large items. They worked for 9 hours in 35 degrees heat and came back the following morning to finish off. Tidy, respectful, real decent fellas. We were surprised White and co only sent two of them but they dug in and got the job done. Highly recommend them. Happy with the whole process from start to finish, a good job done. Thankyou. Kev Mc & Miya from White Company were very efficient and courteous from start to finish of the job. Despite being such hard work in the hot weather, they always had a smile on their faces and were polite throughout. We recently moved from Kirkby Lonsdale, to store in Lancaster and then onwards to a new house in Penrith. We selected White & Co to carry out the move for us as I explained to a friend "We do not want the cheapest but the best." This turned out to be right. Adaptable, professional and thorough through out the move with friendly staff. The price was pretty good too!
