Reliable movers for long-distance relocation!!
I relocated from New York to Indiana, and Bright Side Moving Group handled everything flawlessly. They communicated throughout the process, and all my belongings arrived on time.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. We chose this company based on the reputable reviews and they had given us the most reasonable estimate out of everyone else at first. 1. Without our notice they pushed us out to a third party moving company that was not reputable at all. We had no idea of this until they showed up at our door. On the day of moving they decided to charge us over double the original quote, leaving us no option as we had to eavesdrop that following day. They also refused to let us make any kind of payment on a card. They insisted all payment had to be done via cash. (Big red flag) they also changed the agreement last minute about how much money would be paid at once. 2. Our stuff was picked up on a Thursday and We were told our stuff would arrive to our new home by that Sunday so they kept telling us we better be there. Sunday came and went and they arrived a whole week later. This was a huge issue as they put my young children, 4 and 1 yrs old, in unlivable conditions. My children had no bed to sleep in, no clothes to wear, and no things to prepare food. If I knew they were going to take a week to do what is a 18 hour drive, I would have made sure my children arrived later. 3. When our stuff arrived it was visibly clear our stuff had been handled and moved multiple times as it was in a very different truck, the truck was packed to the max, and most boxes were crushed and flipped upside down despite having visible fragile stickers. The crew did not look professional at all and then continued to roughly handle my things. Tossing boxes, stepping on top of other boxes or furniture to reach things. I also noticed they moved things from boxes we packed ourselves and put into their own boxes and then CHARGED ME for the said boxes. This was an absolutely terrible experience and when calling the company they were not willing to help at all or provide compensation. We will be looking into taking legal action. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Best Crew!!
Very polite and well-organized crew. They listened to my instructions and followed through exactly as asked. Would hire again.
Excellent!!
The movers didn't rush and made sure every item was placed exactly where I wanted it. Top-tier service.
Mansplaining and Insulting
I spoke with Joe regarding a quote. At the end of the call, he pushed for a sale asking what it would take to get me to sign with them. I told him I was comparing prices and deposits. He chose to berate me about getting scammed. He spoke over me for 4 minutes. When he finally stopped talking I told him his blatant disregard and inability to listen cost him my business. He then continued by lobbing insults and character attacks at me parallel to those of my abusive, narcissistic ex-husband. Despite the quote being one of the better I was offered, I will never give Bright Side my business and will repeatedly warn others to avoid them.

Mid-move; do not recommend
I’m currently having my stuff moved from Ohio to Massachusetts via Brightside. They made a number of representations before I went with them that have proven to be false. In particular: (1) they told me that I would receive my delivery date when they picked up my stuff, and (2) they told me, notwithstanding the estimates in the documents (when we were specifically discussing that language in the contact), that it would take 2-5 days to move my things.
After the movers arrived a day before the contract even started, they were unable to give me a delivery date. I have been trying for almost a week just to find out an *estimated* delivery date now, and Brightside keeps telling me they’re working on it, but are apparently unable to get in contact with their own sub-contractor. It’s also now over the 2-5 days that 2 of their representatives told me for delivery.
Absent these representations, I would have gone with a different company because I need to know when to expect delivery + need it within this timeframe. At this point, I just want my things delivered, though I am concerned that this may not ever happen since Brightside may not even be in contact with the movers.

DON'T use BRIGHTSIDE MOVING GROUP
DON'T use BRIGHTSIDE MOVING GROUP. They're not an actual moving company! They quoted us $2100 which I expect to go up a little because I understand estimated our box count, but I also gave away some of the larger furniture pieces we had. A week before we did the ”quality control” call with the actual number of boxes and the price doubled! The actual moving company showed up. And loaded up our stuff and gave us the total for the amount of space our stuff took up and our $2100 quote turned into $5899. I about cried. So we just paid 2 thousand to a company for match making while they sat on their a**es laughing at us!

I needed to send my belongings from Connecticut to California, but the quotes I got from a lot of companies I called, were much higher than I could afford.
Today I was lucky to find a very kind, friendly and skillful sales person, that helped me to finally get a good deal. His name is Anthony, representing Bright Side Moving Group.
He was dedicated to his company, and to me - the potential client - doing his best to find a solution for a better price, making me really happy.
I apreciate his efforts and skills, considering him an asset to his company, representing it with pride, for the top quality services and competitive pricing.
Thank you, from my heart, Anthony!
❤️
I am very grateful to him
Great Experience!!
Movers were quick, careful, and very efficient. They finished the job earlier than expected without rushing anything. Impressed with their professionalism.
BRIGHTSIDE MOVING WAS JUST A BROKER
BRIGHTSIDE MOVING WAS JUST A BROKER. The contract we had signed was voided because they sent over a different moving company that charged us DOUBLE to move our stuff after it was all loaded. I’ve never felt so scammed, so disappointed by a company in my entire life. The second moving company said that Brightside’s contract didn’t matter AND that if we would have worked with them (the second comany) directly, we could have saved money. We basically just paid a thousand dollars to someone who sat on the phone and spewed lies for an hour.

bad moving company
first time i wrote my honest words, trustpilot let me cancel.
1. the company is not honest and good quality one. it is a distribution company, it promised everything, truck driver will not follow. you pay it money, then truck driver will charge you again in any reason. for example, you have paid it the second floor fee, then driver will said, the fee is under 10 steps, over 10 steps, will change you again.
2. they lost you home stuff, not any pay. it selects truck company, insurance is 0.60cents/per pounds. what is that meaning? it is equal no pay. if you want to lose and damage you home sttuff , you select it.
3. select big moving company, like U-pack.. it needs for you hire the moving help by yourself, but it will be truthful.
4. i dislike UAS will become so bad on business, like to rob my money.

Superb!
The movers were courteous, fast and very organized. Everything was labeled properly and unpacking was a breeze. Highly recommended.

Vincent was extremely kind and helpful and offered me an excellent price. I decided to go local with an owner who was the son of a family friend.
I booked my move from NE to FLORIDA On…
I booked my move from NE to FLORIDA On the 25 February with back up date of the 26 pick up time 3-5 pm. I get a call at 4 pm on the 26 that pick up date has changed to 28 5-7 pm. I told them those are not my dates I need to be out my place. I asked for my money back. I was told it was to late for that. I didn't break the contact they did. Why should I be punished for them dropping the ball! We go back
and forth. What I end up having to do was rent a truck, movers and a storage unit in NE. Now I have to travel back to get my belongings or just let them go. Being a disabled Veteran in a fixed income this going to be hard to do. The trust with this company has been broken. As a Veteran I certainly have dealt with moving companies before. This has been costly experience. Now I just lost $1100 because of this company. Never again!

Avoid
I commissioned Brightside Moving Group to move my family as we relocated from Oklahoma to Indiana. It was quite simply the worst transaction I’ve ever had. After receiving a few quotes from other companies, we reached out to Brightside. During the quote process, my wife offered to do a FaceTime walkthrough of our home so the person quoting to actually see everything we were moving. She was told this was unnecessary as we could receive an accurate quote by submitting an inventory list compiled from a previous quote. We were scheduled to move on Saturday 6/15, but on Wednesday 6/12, we were contacted by a new rep with Brightside who told us a FaceTime walkthrough was now required so they could assess all of our belongings, despite us previously being told this was unnecessary. This walkthrough resulted in our original quote being DOUBLED. Now extremely frustrated and stressed due to the looming moving date, we decided to cancel the move. Trust was broken and during this interaction it was revealed to us that movers had yet to be scheduled. We had to eat our deposit, but still saved thousands of dollars. Unfortunately we now had to move everything on our own in a U-Haul.
*EDIT* I'm editing because Bright Side replied to my review. I advised Trustpilot of this and they said I should update my review if I had issues with the reply. We never asked Bright Side to beat another quote, that's completely untrue. We received several quotes and unfortunately chose Bright Side despite them NOT being the cheapest quote we received, which of course was a big mistake.

DO NOT USE BRIGHTSIDE
UPDATE: This company contacted me shortly after I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau. This issue was resolved on 2/25/25.
I booked this company for a move and then a few hours later I cancelled because I ended up getting a much better deal with another company. I had initially thought I was speaking with another company to begin with and realized at the end of my conversation right before signing the contract that it was a different company. The contract indicated that I had three days to cancel to get a full refund of my deposit (even though Joe told me that I can cancel at any time up until a week before the move date and get a full refund). I spoke with Joe after cancelling, plus I sent a text message and email confirming my cancellation on the same day. I instructed Joe not to take the deposit out of my checking account. When I talked with Joe after cancelling, he was very upset with me and told me I am making a big mistake going with another company. He was also upset and told me that I wasted an hour of his time earlier in the day. I politely mentioned that it was my time too. He kept arguing with me about cancelling his services, and I told him I am not going to stay on the phone any longer and requested again that he not take the deposit from my account. The next day I saw that he had taken $934 from my checking account. I sent several follow-up emails asking for the money to be returned, and he still has not refunded my money, nor has he responded to any of my messages. I am working with my bank now and will hire a lawyer if I need to. Joe is not a professional businessman and people
should stay away from this company.

Customer Service was Excellent
Customer Service was Excellent. Ryan was very helpful, professional, and friendly with all the questions I had on an out-of-state move. He was very patient with me. Their follow-up was excellent also.
I highly recommend using them!
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible experience. After being quoted one price I find out days before my move they were incompetent at estimating size of truck and they double the cost of the move. Would NOT recommend!

say goodbye to your wallet…
I was given an exact quote that I agreed to. Then they come and wrap ALL my furniture in blankets, and shrink wrap and tape all my plastic containers that already have lids on them.... and not just a little tape and a ton of shrink wrap. I asked them if they could stop and they said no. My furniture is cheap, it's worth less than all the shrink wrap they are putting on it!... and they charge for everything... the extra blankets and shrink wrap.... They could have been done an hour ago because I have very few things, but they are spending decades wrapping and shrink wrapping everything. $$$$$$$ cha ching, cha ching, cha ching. They also tried to charge me $2000 extra until I said fine, unload everything, I'm not paying more than my quote. Several phone calls later and one upset moving person, the price went back to my original quote plus shrink wrap and tape charges.
