Poor poor service, basically had my prescription returned back saying they were unable to get my medication. It's nothing special, it's effervescent tablets. Twice I went and was informed they were unable to get them. I went up to the Irwell pharmacy in Bacup and had them in my hand in less than 3 minutes. 6 days it took Nuttal pharmacy and nothing. I have other medications every month and I've now transferred them all to Irwell pharmacy. Pathetic, inexcusable service. AVOID.

Whitworth Pharmacy are absolutely brilliant!
I cannot fault them. They look after their customers so well and hand deliver medications every month. I have problems with certain brands and they have gone above and beyond to find brands that will not cause problems for me. Definitely the best pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Can I just say, - I do wonder if the negative reviews all apply to this particular pharmacy? - as there are other chemists in Whitworth and Whitworth Pharmacy are an *online* pharmacy and I don't think really have staff in "the shop"?
I am not saying this definitely is the case, but I have had such exemplary service and attention that I cannot understand why my experience would be so good, and others so bad? Just a thought. I have recommended all my family and friends to switch to Whitworth Pharmacy, and I would definitely not do that if I thought for one second they would receive poor service. Really lovely, helpful staff too.

I order my son's prescription every 6 weeks on the NHS app and the doctors send the prescription direct to our chosen pharmacy. I always leave a few days before collecting, sometimes a week (depending how much we have remaining). 90% of the time when I arrive the prescription isn't ready....I get being short staffed etc, however this morning there were 4 members of staff and not only was the prescription not ready, it wasn't even in stock! Is it not possible to pre order these items as soon as the request goes in? I've taken to ringing before I go to check it's ready so I don't have a wasted journey, however I took a chance this morning - my bad! I've just requested a change to my nominated pharmacy.....had enough!

Customer service rubbish,she was using a computer at back of shop,asked me my name twice because she couldn’t hear me,prescription wasn’t ready after 3days and excuse was they’re short staffed,it’s the same all the time…..

Suddenly closed and sold, has not notified anybody with active prescriptions. Well done Whitworths. Hope it was worth it.

I have been using Whitworth pharmacy for some time now. The staff are great and very friendly, the chemist gives great advise and is patient and will explain things clearly, I can't praise them enough. I have mobility problems and have my medication delivered and they go above and beyond.

After using Whitworth pharmacy for over a year I'm overwhelmed with the company the staff are second to none and go above and beyond to help you it's a credit to you all a big thanks to you all you are simply awesome hope to be with you many years best wishes Mr and Mrs parfitt

Elswick Road Newcastle branch is going rapidly downhill. Used to be friendly, helpful staff but now employs sullen, argumentative staff. Rarely have the full prescription completed in one visit. Not open at the weekend and shuts at 6 weekdays so it’s a rush to get there after work.

Terrible, gone from one of the greatest to the worst should be shut down ( Waterloo rd Blackpool. No one on desk 20 min . 6 people waiting. Don’t get me started on how dirty it is, and empty shelves.
Having to order items in off prescription today, even though had prescriptions for 2 days .
I have pictures if whitworth don’t believe me .! Wanted to put on ere but couldn’t.

12 days to deliver monthly prescription after GP sent prescription request direct.
Missing item again!
In the last 12 months the pharmacy has gone downhill. Such a shame as it was one of the best in the area

The few times i have had to go in this chemist in Kirkham Lancashire, i have found the staff , rude , they look at you like you are dirt , they speak to you like you are dirt and taking their time up , terrible customer service, never smile or say hello or can i help you , not even a goodbye, horrendous, totally useless.

The Barnoldswick branch gives me the worst customer service I've ever had the misfortune to experience. Short staffed and short of prescription medicines, huge queues and when trying to phone no one answers the phone.

Whitworth , Broome Road , Rotherham.
Went for travel jab ( Yellow Fever) via city Doc, pharmacist was excellent and clear to the point.
And no pain.

Still have not had my refund. The liars.
