Disappointment as a lifetime license holder
As a lifetime license holder, this company did me dirty now that I can't update. I was happy to pay each year to access the upgrades, now I don't have that option. Keeping secure software is now not an option, so the lifetime license is useless.

Terrible and childish
A support representative named “
Juan Requena” after giving him access to my WHMCS through their support ticket. He removed administrator from all my accounts and renamed one of my staff the nword for their first and last name. This guy needs to be fired, I have never seen this behavior before. He also screwed up my entire instance and it took me multiple days with hundreds of dollars lost to get our billing panel back up.

I had the good answer from the first reply.
Been great for a few years, but the new price increases is not fair.
Been great for a few years, once you get to know the bugs and how the system works, it works well. However the price increases, especially this years going up 20% is too much for small hosting companies such as my self who already run on tight margins.

Throughout the recovery process, all the agents are incredibly helpful and responsive.
Poor support.
I am a new client to WHMCS, but not new in this industry, and i have to say that asking money for extra support ( for priority it`s not a good practice ). At the value of the subscription i think we should get response to our tickets in max 1-2 hours. Other companies, that offers subscription for similar products, have a better response rate, for a lower price, on WHMCS you have to wait with hours. The persons who says they have a good experience with their support, either use the highest tier of subscription or are fake reviews. It`s not the first time when i get response after almost 12-20 hours after i opened the ticket... Terrible support. In my opinion they can offer a better reponse time for the value they ask us to pay, or either reduce the costs of the license, and add support as a paid extra functionality.

I am very happy with WHMCS support response time. I just followed the instructions given and the error was fixed in a matter of seconds.

I have been using WHMCS without any problems, until I started using their Apps & Integration, the worst decision ever.
I purchased credits to resell Site Builder and it doesn't work. I have been with multiple WHMCS support agents (all ask the same thing and provide solutions which NEVER fix the issues I experienced with Site Builder). One of the support agents even acknowledged that Site Builder seems to have issues. So why are they allowing to WASTE our time and money on it?
I have now tried Sitejet which works 100 times than Site Builder.
All my money, down the drain and wasted, buying credits for something that doesn't even work - I can't even claim a refund because they don't offer refunds for credits. My money is gone, because I only bought credits for Site Builder (not any other product, my customers are not even a target market for the other products).
I do not recommend reselling those things on "Apps & Intergrations", they have technical issues. You're taking your hard earned money and wasting it on non-refundable credits. It's frustrating!
My $20 might not be a lot to WHMCS, but in my currency it's a lot of money (R350!!!!!!!!!!!) and I wasted it!

We recently tried to purchase a license…
I'm updating our review here. I appreciate the team at WHMCS working with us. We originally had issues due to using a VPN to signup with that flagged our account as being possibly fraudulent. At this time our order was approved and everything is now working smoothly.

After a very challenging issue, the team got things sorted working with my reseller hosting.
Company really needs to work on…
Company really needs to work on communicating things with customers. They had an outage that took down systems using their software, and nothing was posted on the announcements and new or status pages about the issue.
Update based on the response:
WHMCS contacted me regarding my review, and they once again tried to pin this on me. They missed the point with this response and with the support ticket.
I am lowering my score because they really seem to just want to try to do damage control at this point.
