DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
I have bought a set of chess pieces from them recently and have regretted it. The style that I bought is called "Broadbase Staunton" and it is triple weighted.
The description on the website is not very detailed so I was already suspicious of them, but I just bought it from them anyway, it says on the description that you will get 2 extra queens or to be precise the quote from their website says "The set has 4 Queens!" . But when I received the set it was not included.
When I emailed them about this, I was told that recent stock delivery does not include this and if im not happy I need to return it to them for a full refund. This means I would have to pay for the delivery myself and incur more cost on my behalf, not to mention my time. When I emailed them back saying I want the extra queens they simply did not reply back and ignored me. They also did not update their website to reflect this change, Im guessing they are trying to push their products to people i.e. hoping for 4 queens and knows that people wont send it back because it will cost them.
They also had the cheek to say in their email that they were only charging me 33% of the actual RRP. They should just charge full price like every other website then if they're not happy.
Other problems I had was the quality of the pieces. One of the white bishops had a chip, Both black rooks had brown stains on the top. The top of both white rooks was not shellak. I also bought a case to keep the chess pieces and that has a scratch on the side.
I buy a lot of chess stuff online and gave this shop a chance, but after this horrible experience I would advise to keep away from this company.
