Premium prices, terrible service

Absolutely bad experience with WHOOP from day one.

First, I ordered the product with the 1 month trial offer… and I never even received it. So in the end I basically paid for a full year subscription just to “test” a product I could not even use properly.

Then I was wrongly charged 264€ for a second annual subscription I never approved. After that, I ordered a simple charger and paid 12€ shipping for it… more than 15 days later the order was still “in preparation”. Not even shipped (and I'm talking with the support).

So I’m paying for a premium fitness subscription while being unable to use the bracelet because WHOOP cannot send a charger in a reasonable timeframe.

What is most shocking is that much cheaper brands manage to ship products within 24/48h while WHOOP, positioning itself as a premium company, seems unable to handle basic customer service and logistics.

Very disappointing experience overall.

Their customer service is appalling

Their customer service is appalling. It’s all AI so you hardly speak to a person and I’ve been in a loop for 6 months trying to sort something out but they just keep asking the same questions.

The tech itself is great for keeping your health on track but the customer service makes you want to throw it out the window!

Do not buy from WHOOP

Do not buy from WHOOP. Their business model is predatory.
I ordered a product that was out of stock. When I requested to cancel, I was told their system automatically locks all orders and cannot reverse them—even before shipping. They have no confirmed restock date, which means I paid for a product that may never arrive, with no way to get my money back except by returning it after it arrives (and paying return shipping).
I contacted customer service three times. Each response was identical: they cannot cancel, they don’t know when it will arrive, and I can return it later. No solutions. No exceptions. Just the same policy repeated.
This is not a business practice—it’s a trap. WHOOP charges immediately, locks orders permanently, provides no delivery timeline, and forces customers to either wait indefinitely or pay to return unwanted items.
There are dozens of competitors with actual customer service. Go to them instead.

Love my WHOOP

I love my WHOOP. The feedback has 3 times alerted me to a medical condition I ignored. Brown recluse spider bite, the flu and just yesterday a stomach bug. Amazing how is let’s me know I am fighting an infection I’m not aware of. As an athlete I am able to better plan my workout according to my recovery, as a 60yo this is very important to me.

Poor customer support

Joined the Chase Sapphire bandwagon to test out the Whoop device in 2/2026 but device bracket kept coming off the main sensor body. Issue progressively worsened so I contacted Whoop in 5/2026 to report issue, was advised to “gently pinch the ends towards one another to slightly reduce the distance between the pins. If it still feels loose, apply slightly more force until the clasp gives a little and secures more firmly.” I tried that and the bracket ended up bending/getting permanently deformed. Did not bother contacting support again as they claimed that brackets are not covered under warranty, even though continuously reattaching them to body has worn out the holes/connection points. Do not plan to wear for remainder of year and have already cancelled renewal. Buyer beware.

Extremely disappointed with WHOOP.

Extremely disappointed with WHOOP.

It has been over a month since I placed my order, yet it still has not been shipped or delivered. Customer support has been unhelpful and the delay is completely unacceptable.

Waiting this long without any proper resolution or clear update is frustrating, especially for a paid order. At this point, I have requested a cancellation and refund, and I am considering filing a chargeback through my bank.

Would not recommend based on this experience.

Scam company

Scam company, took another £220 out of my account for a second year even though I removed my details as it wouldn’t let me cancel. Told me there was nothing I can do…

Stay clear.

I find the whoop product great

I find the whoop product great, the user interface is great and the new AI feature gives good insights. I recently had some questions and reached out to whoop support for help and Cristy provided great support. I recommend whoop to everyone I know who is into their sport!

Overall Im satisfied with the product

Overall Im satisfied with the product, however it is expensive. The subscription alone set you back and then there are the peripherals like new bands, and other merchandise. Sure you don't need to invest in that, and I guess that since you commit to at least 12 months and you don't have to pay for the wearable that's the difference between this and other brands.
To be honest I'm not that into the whole wearable market, I've found this and stick to it because it works for me. Been a customer for about 2 and a half year by now, so they're doing something right :)

Extremely frustrating customer support…

Extremely frustrating customer support experience.

My husband and I provided the same verification information multiple times over several emails (serial number, address, payment card details, possible emails connected to the account), yet every new support agent keeps asking for the exact same information again without apparently reading the previous communication.

Because of this endless loop, I have been unable to use my WHOOP account for almost two weeks.

I expected much better support from a premium subscription company. Very disappointing experience.

False advertising

I am filing this complaint regarding a promotional offer from WHOOP associated with my Chase Sapphire card. The promotion was presented as a “free” offer, which led me to enroll and place an order in reliance on that representation.

After the transaction was processed, I was unexpectedly charged. When I contacted customer service, I was informed that the promotion allegedly required an additional $10 spend beyond the already substantial cost of the membership in order to qualify. This material condition was not clearly disclosed in a reasonable or transparent manner at the time of purchase.

I believe the promotion was misleading as presented, and I would not have proceeded had the true requirements been made sufficiently.

I attempted to resolve this matter directly with customer service but did not receive a satisfactory resolution.

Cancelled after 2+ years.

Cancelled after 2+ years.
The data and insights are nice to have, but the overall value just isn’t there anymore.
The subscription is expensive, especially when there are now smartwatches available that offer similar features without ongoing fees.
Replacement bands are also ridiculously overpriced. After being a customer for years, it would be nice to see some loyalty recognition — even an annual discount or replacement offer for worn bands.
Also, if you don’t keep Bluetooth enabled all day, syncing becomes frustrating. Reconnecting and transferring data takes a long time, and there’s a noticeable delay before your data is actually visible in the app.
Overall, good data, but the cost and user experience no longer justify it for me.

Absolutely terrible experience

Absolutely terrible experience. Their return process is a complete nightmare. First, there is no clear way to return the device directly through their website. You have to contact customer support just to obtain a return label, which is already unnecessarily complicated and a waste of customers’ time.

After struggling through that process and finally returning my device over a month ago, they still charged me €134 even though they received the return and I no longer even have the product.

This is outrageous. Customers should not have to fight to return a product and then monitor their bank account hoping they won’t be charged afterward. I followed the process, returned the device, and still got billed.

I am extremely angry and deeply disappointed. The way returns appear to be handled is unacceptable. Charging customers after a return has been completed should never happen. I am now forced to chase support again just to recover money that should never have been taken in the first place.

Avoid unless you enjoy endless frustration and terrible customer treatment.

You can't return it without logging in

You can't return it without logging in. You can't log in unless you sign up. To sign up, you need to open your box, connect the Whoop to bluetooth and sync it with your device. No way to return it or cancel order if you don't want it. It's a total sham process to force you to unbox it.

This is such an excellent product. I've been using it for 6 years now. It is excellent for all of the things that I'm trying to do with my life from strength training to VO2 max to general health and Wellness to sleep to recovery and different activities that contribute. There's so much that this product can do.

Issues with Subscription Cancellation and Unauthorized Charges

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Whoop.

At the beginning of the free trial, I was charged $115, even though I was informed that only a $10 delivery fee would apply. This immediately raised concerns regarding billing transparency and communication.

In addition, I cancelled my subscription on 24 March and have the cancellation confirmation email as proof. Despite this, I was unexpectedly charged another $121.26 on 12 May without my authorization or any prior notice.

What made the situation even more frustrating is that the device was originally promoted as free with the annual subscription, yet additional charges were still applied without clear explanation or consent.

I contacted customer support and requested a refund, but so far I have not received any response. Overall, this has been a highly disappointing and unprofessional experience. I sincerely hope the company improves its customer service, communication, and billing transparency in the future.

Absolutely cannot recommend it to anyone.

The customer service is a total disaster. It’s truly a scam. I absolutely cannot recommend it to anyone. In the app, it’s not possible to cancel the subscription. You have to log in separately on the website, and even there the cancellation option is hidden away.

WHOOP has genuinely changed my life

WHOOP has genuinely changed my life. It helped me build better habits, understand myself on a much deeper level, and get rid of all the bad habits that were holding me back in training, recovery, and sleep. Honestly, it feels like my closest and most supportive friend.

I use it to create personalized training programs tailored specifically to me, and I absolutely love them. I’ve convinced almost all of my friends to get a WHOOP as well, and at this point I’m basically constantly promoting it to everyone around me. It’s truly an incredible device and app — thank you so much for creating it.
